弟兄们，你们记得我们的辛苦和劳碌：我们把神的福音传给你们的时候，我们日夜做工，免得成为你们任何人的负担。

西门彼得对大家说：“我去打鱼。”他们说：“我们也和你一起去。”他们就出去，上了船。可是那一夜，他们什么也没有捕到。

其实敬神加上知足，才是极大的得利之道。

难道只有我和巴拿巴没有不做工的权利吗？

你们自己也知道，我这双手供应了我和与我在一起之人的需要。在一切事上，我都给你们做了榜样：必须这样地劳苦做工来扶助软弱的人，并且要记住主耶稣自己说过的话：‘施比受更加蒙福。’”

也没有白吃过谁的饭。相反，我们辛苦劳碌、日夜做工，免得成为你们任何人的负担。
