Let us go to the Jordan, where each of us can get a pole; and let us build a place there for us to meet.” And he said,“ Go.”

他們是以做帳棚為業的，因為是同業，保羅就與他們同住，一同工作。

弟兄們，你們應該記得我們的辛苦和勞碌；我們把神的福音傳給你們的時候，怎樣晝夜作工，免得你們有人受累。

西門．彼得對他們說：“我要打魚去。”他們說：“我們也跟你一起去。”於是他們出去，上了船，可是那一夜他們並沒有打到甚麼。

其實敬虔而又知足，就是得大利的途徑，

難道只有我和巴拿巴沒有權利不作工嗎？

我這兩隻手，供應了我和同伴的需要，這是你們自己知道的。我凡事以身作則，你們必須照樣辛勞，扶助軟弱的人，並且記念主耶穌的話：‘施比受更為有福。’”

也沒有白吃過誰的飯，反而辛苦勞碌，晝夜作工，免得加重你們任何一人的負擔。
