Someone went in, and told his lord, saying,“ The maiden who is from the land of Israel said this.”

Naaman went to his master and told him what the girl from Israel had said.

So Naaman went in and told his lord,“ Thus and so spoke the girl from the land of Israel.”

So Naaman went and told his master what the girl from the land of Israel had said.

Then they said to one another,“ We aren’t doing right. Today is a day of good news, and we keep silent. If we wait until the morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come, let’s go and tell the king’s household.”So they came and called to the city gatekeepers; and they told them,“ We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, not even a man’s voice, but the horses tied, and the donkeys tied, and the tents as they were.”He called the gatekeepers; and they told it to the king’s household within.

He didn’t allow him, but said to him,“ Go to your house, to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how he had mercy on you.”

For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world that he might put to shame the things that are strong.

So the woman left her water pot, went away into the city, and said to the people,“ Come, see a man who told me everything that I did. Can this be the Christ?”

Jesus said to him,“ Follow me.”Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter.Philip found Nathanael, and said to him,“ We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”Nathanael said to him,“ Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him,“ Come and see.”
