以色列犯了罪，又违背了我所吩咐他们的约，又取了当灭之物。他们又偷窃，又行诡诈，又把那当灭的物与自己的器皿放在一起。因此，以色列人在仇敌面前站立不住。他们在仇敌面前转身逃跑，因为他们成了当灭的物。你们若不把当灭的物从你们中间除掉，我就不再与你们同在了。

亚哈听见拿伯死了，就起来，下去要取得耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园。

他对我说：“这就是向全地面发出的诅咒。凡偷窃的必按书卷这面的话除灭，凡起假誓的必按书卷那面的话除灭。万军之耶和华说：我要把这书卷送出去，进入偷窃者的家和指着我名起假誓者的家，停留在他家里，连房屋带木头和石头都毁灭了。”

这些人岂不都要提起诗歌和俗语，嘲讽他说：祸哉！你增添不属自己的财物，靠押金发财，要到几时呢？

祸哉！那些向耶和华深藏谋略的，他们在暗中行事，说：“有谁看见我们呢？谁会注意我们呢？”
