Elisha returned to Gilgal and there was a famine in that region. While the company of the prophets was meeting with him, he said to his servant,“ Put on the large pot and cook some stew for these prophets.”

Elisha returned to Gilgal. There wasn’t enough food to eat in that area. The group of the prophets was meeting with Elisha. So he said to his servant,“ Put the large pot over the fire. Cook some stew for these prophets.”

And Elisha came again to Gilgal when there was a famine in the land. And as the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, he said to his servant,“ Set on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

Elisha now returned to Gilgal, and there was a famine in the land. One day as the group of prophets was seated before him, he said to his servant,“ Put a large pot on the fire, and make some stew for the rest of the group.”

When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land. The sons of the prophets were sitting before him. He said to his attendant,“ Put on the large pot and make stew for the sons of the prophets.”

When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land. As the sons of the prophets were sitting in front of him, he said to his servant,“ Put on the large pot and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

And Elisha returned to Gilgal, and there was a famine in the land. Now the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant,“ Put on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

And Elisha came again to Gilgal. And there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and boil pottage for the sons of the prophets.

When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land. The sons of the prophets were sitting at his feet. He said to his attendant,“ Put on the large pot and make stew for the sons of the prophets.”

And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and[ there was] a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets[ were] sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.

Now Elisha went back to Gilgal, while there was famine in the land. Some of the prophets were visiting him and he told his servant,“ Put the big pot on the fire and boil some stew for the prophets.”

Elisha came again to Gilgal. There was a famine in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant,“ Get the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

以利沙曾對兒子被他救活的婦人說：『你要起身，你和你的家要往可寄居的地方去寄居；因為永恆主已呼喚饑荒，並且那饑荒必臨到此地七年之久。

這人有一個妹妹叫馬利亞、在主腳旁坐着，聽他講話。

『我是猶太人，生於基利家的大數，卻是在這城裏撫養大的，在迦瑪列腳前，按着我們祖宗嚴緊之律法受訓練，本是為上帝而熱心的人，像你們眾人今天一樣。

我要折斷你們糧食的支杖；那時必有十個女人只在一個手提爐子給你們烤餅，又按分量將餅交回你們；你們要喫，也喫不飽。

『我憐憫這一羣人，因為他們同我在一起已經三天了，也沒有甚麼喫的。我若解散他們、空着肚子回家去，他們是會在路上暈倒的；況且他們中間還有從遠處來的呢。』門徒回答他說：『這兒在曠野，人從哪裏能得餅，使這些人喫飽呢？』他問他們說：『你們有多少餅？』他們說：『七個。』耶穌囑咐羣眾坐在地上；就拿着那七個餅，祝謝、擘開，連續地給門徒，叫他們擺上；他們就擺在羣眾面前。

鬼所由出的那人祈求耶穌、要跟他在一起；耶穌卻打發他走，說：

你帶出到田間的種子雖多，收進來的卻少，因為蝗蟲要把它嘬盡了。你栽種修理葡萄園，卻不得收葡萄，也不得喝葡萄酒，因為蟲子要把它喫了。在你全境內、你必有橄欖樹，卻沒有油抹身，因為你的橄欖都未熟就脫落了。

永恆主必用癆病、熱病、炎症、惡性熱病、乾旱、旱風、霉爛、擊打你；它們必追趕你，直到你滅亡。你頭上的天必變為銅，你腳下的地必變為鐵。永恆主必將飛塵沙土代替你地上所需要的雨水；塵土必從天上下到你身上，直到你消滅。

當大衛在位的日子鬧饑荒，一年過一年、共三年；大衛就尋求朝見永恆主。永恆主說：『掃羅和他的家有殺人流血的罪，因為他殺死了基遍人。』

論到拿撒勒的耶穌，上帝怎樣將聖靈和能力膏了他。他走遍四方行善事，醫好了一切被魔鬼壓制的人，因為上帝和他同在。

他們離開船上了岸，見有一堆炭火生在那裏，有小魚放在上面，又有餅。

『人子啊，若有一國行為不忠實，犯罪得罪了我，而我伸手攻擊它，折斷它糧食的支杖，使饑荒臨到那地，將人和牲口都從那裏剪除掉，

我憑事實告訴你們，當以利亞的日子、以色列中有許多寡婦；那時天閉塞了三年零六個月，遍地大饑荒；

過了些日子，保羅對巴拿巴說；『我們總要回到從前傳布主道的各城去、看望看望弟兄們。』

以下是永恆主的話、那傳與耶利米、論到荒災之事的：『猶大悲哀，她的城門衰敗，人都披上黑衣坐在地上哀悼；耶路撒冷的哀號聲直往上升。他們的貴顯人打發家僮去打水；家僮來到沼池邊，見沒有水，就空着器皿回來，失望狼狽，抱頭無言。耕種土地的驚慌失措，因為沒有霖雨在地上；耕地的人都失望，抱頭蒙羞。連田野間的母鹿也剛生產就撇棄，因為沒有青草。野驢站在無草木的高處上，好像野狗在喘氣；他們的眼都失明，因為沒有草喫。

過了三天、就找着他在殿裏，坐在教師們中間，也聽他們，也詰問他們。

他年年去環遊伯特利、吉甲、米斯巴、到這些地方為以色列人審案。然後回到拉瑪，因為他的家在那裏；他也在那裏為以色列人審案；他並且在那裏給永恆主築了一座祭壇。

掃羅打發差役去捉拿大衛；去的人看見一羣神言人正在傳神言，撒母耳也站在其中監管着他們；掃羅的差役們也受上帝的靈感動而發神言狂。

眾人就出來，要看所發生的事；到了耶穌那裏，看見鬼所由出的那人穿着衣裳、神志清明、坐在耶穌腳旁，他們就害怕。

耶穌對他們說：『你們、給他們喫。』他們說：『若不去為這羣眾民買食物，我們就不過有五個餅兩條魚。』

你要向這叛逆之家設比喻，對他們說：主永恆主這麼說：要將鍋放在火上，放好了，也要倒水在裏頭；

耶穌回答他們說：『你們、給他們喫。』他們對他說：『我們要去買二百日工錢的餅，給他們喫麼？』

聽我的人有福啊！這等人天天在我門口仰望着，在我門框邊守候着。

於是耶穌對他們說：『小孩子，你們打着了下飯的東西沒有？』他們回答耶穌說：『沒有。』
