基哈西告诉王以利沙如何使死人复活，恰巧以利沙所救活、她儿子的那妇人为自己的房屋田地来哀告王。基哈西说：“我主我王，这就是那妇人，这是她的儿子，就是以利沙所救活的。”

有人正葬死人，忽然看见一群人，就把死人抛在以利沙的坟墓里，一碰着以利沙的骸骨，死人就复活，站起来了。

彼得叫她们都出去，就跪下祷告，转身对着死人说：“大比大，起来！”她就睁开眼睛，见了彼得，便坐起来。

耶和华应允以利亚的话，孩子的灵魂仍入他的身体，他就活了。

于是进前按着杠，抬的人就站住了。耶稣说：“少年人，我吩咐你，起来！”那死人就坐起，并且说话。耶稣便把他交给他母亲。

以利沙曾对所救活之子的那妇人说：“你和你的全家要起身往你可住的地方去住，因为耶和华命饥荒降在这地七年。”

说了这话，就大声呼叫说：“拉撒路出来！”那死人就出来了，手脚裹着布，脸上包着手巾。耶稣对他们说：“解开，叫他走！”

她的灵魂便回来，她就立刻起来了。耶稣吩咐给她东西吃。
