Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or response. So Gehazi went back to meet Elisha and told him,“ The boy has not awakened.”

Gehazi went on ahead. He laid Elisha’s walking stick on the boy’s face. But there wasn’t any sound. The boy didn’t move at all. So Gehazi went back to Elisha. He told him,“ The boy hasn’t awakened.”

Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the face of the child, but there was no sound or sign of life. Therefore he returned to meet him and told him,“ The child has not awakened.”

Gehazi hurried on ahead and laid the staff on the child’s face, but nothing happened. There was no sign of life. He returned to meet Elisha and told him,“ The child is still dead.”

Gehazi went ahead of them and placed the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or sign of life, so he went back to meet Elisha and told him,“ The boy didn’t wake up.”

Then Gehazi went on ahead of them and laid the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or response. So he returned to meet him and informed him, saying,“ The boy has not awakened.”

Now Gehazi went on ahead of them, and laid the staff on the face of the child; but there was neither voice nor hearing. Therefore he went back to meet him, and told him, saying,“ The child has not awakened.”

And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he returned to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.

耶穌曰、噫、不信之世、我偕爾當幾何時、我忍爾當幾何時乎、且攜子就我、遂攜至、一見耶穌、神即拘攣之、仆地、輾轉流涎、耶穌問其父曰、患此幾時矣、曰、自少時、屢投於水火、欲滅吾子、倘爾能為、則憫而助我、耶穌曰、如爾能信、則可、信者無不能也、其父垂淚、呼曰、主、我信、若信未篤、則助余、耶穌見眾趨集、叱邪神曰、使人喑聾之神、我命爾出、勿再入之、神號呼、拘攣之甚、乃出、其子若死然、人謂其已死、耶穌執其手、扶之、遂起、○入室、門徒竊問曰、吾儕逐之不得、何歟、耶穌曰、藉非祈禱禁食、此族不得出也、○

問於耶和華、耶和華不答、亦不以夢寐、烏陵、先知而示。

有猶太邪術方士、遇惡神所憑諸人、呼主耶穌名曰、我藉保羅所傳之耶穌、令爾出、猶太祭司長士基瓦七子亦效之、惡神曰、我知耶穌、識保羅、爾曹誰耶、惡神所憑之人、躍伏克之、使裸而受傷、逃出其室、居以弗所之猶太、希利尼人、皆知之、眾懼、大稱主耶穌名、

人子、斯人之於偶像、中則崇敬之、外則瞻禮之、自陷於惡、豈得諮諏於我乎。

攜就爾門徒、而不能醫也、耶穌曰、噫、不信悖逆之世、我偕爾當幾何時、我忍爾當幾何時、且攜若子就我、耶穌斥鬼、鬼既出、子遂愈、門徒私就耶穌曰、我儕不能逐鬼、何歟、曰、不信故也、我誠告爾、有信如芥種、即命此山、去此移彼、亦必移焉、且無所不能也、

長眠於地下者、其數甚眾、必甦而起、得永生者有之、受永辱者有之、

屈而不伸、寢而不寤、必也彼蒼窮盡之日、斯人有復生之時。

至午後、近獻祭之時、彼偽為憑神而言、實無聲響、亦無應對而垂顧之者。
