The mother of the boy said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

子之母曰、我指永生主而誓、亦指爾之生命而誓、我必不離爾、以利沙遂起、與之偕往、

But the child’s mother said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

But the child’s mother said,“ I won’t leave you. And that’s just as sure as the Lord and you are alive.” So Elisha got up and followed her.

Then the mother of the child said,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he arose and followed her.

But the boy’s mother said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I won’t go home unless you go with me.” So Elisha returned with her.

The boy’s mother said to Elisha,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

And the mother of the child said,“ As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose and followed her.

And the mother of the child said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

The boy’s mother said to Elisha,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

And the mother of the child said,[ As] the LORD liveth, and[ as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

The mother of the child said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So Elisha got up and followed her back.

The child’s mother said,“ As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose, and followed her.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here please, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to him,“ Elisha, please stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Jericho.” But he said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they came to Jericho.

But Ruth said,“ Do not plead with me to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you sleep, I will sleep. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord do so to me, and worse, if anything but death separates me from you.”When she saw that she was determined to go with her, she stopped speaking to her about it.

Then Moses said to the Lord,“ See, You say to me,‘ Bring up this people!’ But You Yourself have not let me know whom You will send with me. Moreover, You have said,‘ I have known you by name, and you have also found favor in My sight.’Now then, if I have found favor in Your sight in any way, please let me know Your ways so that I may know You, in order that I may find favor in Your sight. Consider too, that this nation is Your people.”And He said,“ My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.”Then he said to Him,“ If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here.For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we, I and Your people, may be distinguished from all the other people who are on the face of the earth?”
