以利沙說：“明年這個時分，時候到了，你必懷抱一個兒子。”她說：“神人哪！不要欺哄你的婢女。”

以利沙说：“明年到这时候，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人，我主啊，不要那样欺哄婢女。”

以利沙说：“明年这时候，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人，我主啊，不要这样欺哄婢女。”

以利沙说：“明年这时候，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人，我主啊，不要这样欺哄婢女。”

以利沙对她说：“明年这时候，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“上帝的仆人，我主啊，不要骗我。”

以利沙说：“明年这个时分，时候到了，你必怀抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人哪！不要欺哄你的婢女。”

以利沙說：「明年到這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「神人，我主啊，不要那樣欺哄婢女。」

以利沙說：「明年這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「神人，我主啊，不要這樣欺哄婢女。」

以利沙說：「明年這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「神人，我主啊，不要這樣欺哄婢女。」

以利沙對她說：「明年這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「上帝的僕人，我主啊，不要騙我。」

以利沙說：『到了日期，約在婦人懷孕滿期的時候、你就要抱兒子了。』婦人說：『我主神人哪，不會的；你別和婢女開玩笑啦。』

以利沙曰、歲月既周、至於此時、爾必抱子、曰、不然、我主上帝僕歟、勿誑爾婢、

以利沙曰、明年屆期、爾必誕育。曰、我主、上帝之僕與、毋欺爾婢。

以利沙曰、明年斯時、爾必抱一子、曰、神人我主歟、請勿如是言、勿欺爾婢、

“ About this time next year,” Elisha said,“ you will hold a son in your arms.”“ No, my lord!” she objected.“ Please, man of God, don’t mislead your servant!”

“ You will hold a son in your arms,” Elisha said.“ It will be about this time next year.”“ No, my master!” she objected.“ You are a man of God. So please don’t lie to me!”

And he said,“ At this season, about this time next year, you shall embrace a son.” And she said,“ No, my lord, O man of God; do not lie to your servant.”

“ Next year at this time you will be holding a son in your arms!”“ No, my lord!” she cried.“ O man of God, don’t deceive me and get my hopes up like that.”

Elisha said,“ At this time next year you will have a son in your arms.” Then she said,“ No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your servant.”

Then he said,“ At this season next year, you are going to embrace a son.” And she said,“ No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your servant.”

Then he said,“ About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said,“ No, my Lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!”

And he said, At this season, when the time cometh round, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thy handmaid.

Elisha said,“ At this time next year you will have a son in your arms.” Then she said,“ No, my lord. Man of God, do not deceive your servant.”

And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord,[ thou] man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.

He said,“ About this time next year you will be holding a son.” She said,“ No, my master! O prophet, do not lie to your servant!”

He said,“ At this season, when the time comes around, you will embrace a son.” She said,“ No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your servant.”

其中一位說：“到明年這個時候，我必回到你這裡來。那時，你的妻子撒拉必生一個兒子。”撒拉在那人後面的帳棚門口，也聽見了這話。

她說：“我有向我主求過兒子嗎？我不是說過：‘不要欺哄我’的嗎？”

但我的約是要和以撒堅立的。這以撒，就是明年這時候，撒拉要為你生的。”

我必賜福給她，也必使她為你生一個兒子；我要賜福給她，她也要作多國的母，萬族的君王必從她而出。”亞伯拉罕就俯伏在地，笑了起來，心裡說：“一百歲的人，還能生孩子嗎？撒拉已經九十歲了，還能生育嗎？”

天使說：“撒迦利亞，不要怕，因為你的祈求已蒙垂聽，你妻子以利沙伯要給你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫約翰。

於是婦人對以利亞說：“神人哪，我跟你有甚麼關係呢？你竟到我這裡來，使耶和華想起我的罪孽，殺死我的兒子。”

天使說：“馬利亞，不要怕！因你已從神那裡蒙了恩。你將懷孕生子，要給他起名叫耶穌。

撒拉心裡暗笑，說：“現在我已經衰老了，我的丈夫也老了，我還有房事的樂趣嗎？”耶和華對亞伯拉罕說：“撒拉為甚麼暗笑說：‘我已經老了，真的還能生育嗎？’耶和華豈有難成的事嗎？到明年這個時候，我要回到你這裡來，那時，撒拉必生一個兒子。”撒拉害怕起來，就否認，說：“我沒有笑。”但那位說：“不，你實在笑了。”

撒迦利亞對天使說：“我怎麼能知道這事呢？我已經老了，我妻子也上了年紀。”天使回答：“我是站在神面前的加百列，奉差遣向你說話，報給你這好消息。看吧！到了時候我的話必要應驗；因為你不信我的話，你必成為啞巴，直到這些事成就的那一天，才能說話。”

以利沙差派一個使者去見他說：“你去在約旦河中沐浴七次，你的身體就會復原，得著潔淨。”乃縵卻發怒走了，他說：“我以為他必會出來，站著求告耶和華他的神的名，向著患處搖手，潔淨這痲風病。

我在驚惶之中曾說：“人都是說謊的。”

俄巴底說：“我犯了甚麼罪，你竟要把你僕人交在亞哈手裡，使他殺死我呢？

那城的人對以利沙說：“請看這城的地勢很好，老師你也看見，可惜水惡劣，以致此地沒有出產。”
