迦勒底人環攻其城而陷之、武士由門旁夾道、近於王囿、夤夜而遁、士卒四散、王望坦途而往、迦勒底軍追襲其後、至耶利哥之坦途、

於是城破、王與諸戰士、由近王園兩城中之門、夜逃遁、迦勒底人在城四圍、王由平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、

Then the city wall was broken through, and the whole army fled at night through the gate between the two walls near the king’s garden, though the Babylonians were surrounding the city. They fled toward the Arabah,

Then the Babylonians broke through the city wall. Judah’s whole army ran away at night. They went out through the gate between the two walls near the king’s garden. They escaped even though the Babylonians surrounded the city. Judah’s army ran toward the Arabah Valley.

Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, by the king’s garden, and the Chaldeans were around the city. And they went in the direction of the Arabah.

Then a section of the city wall was broken down. Since the city was surrounded by the Babylonians, the soldiers waited for nightfall and escaped through the gate between the two walls behind the king’s garden. Then they headed toward the Jordan Valley.

我们被掳后第十二年的十月初五，有人从耶路撒冷逃到我这里，说：“城已被攻破。”

四月初九，城里的饥荒非常严重，当地的百姓都没有粮食。城被攻破，士兵全都在夜间从靠近王园两城墙中间的门逃跑出城；迦勒底人正在四围攻城，他们就往亚拉巴逃去。迦勒底的军队追赶西底家王，在耶利哥的平原追上他。他的全军都离开他溃散了。迦勒底人就拿住王，带他到哈马地利比拉的巴比伦王那里；巴比伦王就判他的罪。巴比伦王在西底家眼前杀了他的儿女，又在利比拉杀了犹大全体的官长，并且挖了西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，带到巴比伦去，将他囚在监里，直到他死的日子。

饿死人的饥荒、灼人的热症、痛苦的灾害。我要叫野兽用牙齿咬他们，叫土中爬行的用毒液害他们。外有刀剑使人丧亡，内有惊恐，少男少女是如此，吃奶的、白发的也是如此。

管理米斯巴区、各‧荷西的儿子沙仑修造泉门；他立门，盖门顶，安门扇，装闩和锁，又修造靠近王的花园西罗亚池的城墙，直到那从大卫城下来的台阶。

他们中间的君王也必在天黑时把物件背在肩上带走。他们要挖通墙壁，从其中带出去。他必蒙住脸，眼看不见地。

我要向你们变脸，使你们败在仇敌的面前。恨恶你们的必管辖你们；无人追赶，你们却要逃跑。

西底家十一年四月初九日，城被攻破。耶路撒冷被攻下的时候，巴比伦王的众官长，尼甲‧沙利薛、三甲‧尼波、撒西金将军、尼甲‧沙利薛将军，并巴比伦王其余的官长都来坐在中门。犹大王西底家和所有士兵看见他们，就在夜间从靠近王的花园、两城墙中间的门逃跑出城，往亚拉巴逃去。迦勒底的军队追赶他们，在耶利哥的平原追上西底家，将他逮住，带到哈马地的利比拉、巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒那里；尼布甲尼撒就判他的罪。在利比拉，巴比伦王在西底家眼前杀了他的儿女；巴比伦王又杀了犹大所有的贵族，并且挖了西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁住他，要带到巴比伦去。

若非他们的磐石卖了他们，若非耶和华交出他们，一人岂能追赶千人，二人焉能使万人逃跑呢？

你们要上去毁坏它的葡萄园，但不可毁坏净尽，只可除掉其枝子，因为不属耶和华。

“耶和华必使你在仇敌面前溃败。你从一条路去攻击他们，必从七条路逃跑。地上万国必因你而惊骇。

至于你们幸存的人，我要使他们在敌人之地心中惊慌，甚至风吹落叶的声音也把他们吓跑。他们要逃避，像人逃避刀剑，虽无人追赶，却要跌倒。
