迦勒底人環攻其城而陷之、武士由門旁夾道、近於王囿、夤夜而遁、士卒四散、王望坦途而往、迦勒底軍追襲其後、至耶利哥之坦途、

於是城破、王與諸戰士、由近王園兩城中之門、夜逃遁、迦勒底人在城四圍、王由平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、

Then the city wall was broken through, and the whole army fled at night through the gate between the two walls near the king’s garden, though the Babylonians were surrounding the city. They fled toward the Arabah,

Then the Babylonians broke through the city wall. Judah’s whole army ran away at night. They went out through the gate between the two walls near the king’s garden. They escaped even though the Babylonians surrounded the city. Judah’s army ran toward the Arabah Valley.

Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, by the king’s garden, and the Chaldeans were around the city. And they went in the direction of the Arabah.

Then a section of the city wall was broken down. Since the city was surrounded by the Babylonians, the soldiers waited for nightfall and escaped through the gate between the two walls behind the king’s garden. Then they headed toward the Jordan Valley.

四月初九日，城里有大饥荒，甚至百姓都没有粮食。城被攻破，一切兵丁就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门，出城逃跑；迦勒底人正在四围攻城。他们就往亚拉巴逃去。迦勒底的军队追赶西底家王，在耶利哥的平原追上他。他的全军都离开他四散了。迦勒底人就拿住王，带他到在哈马地利比拉的巴比伦王那里；巴比伦王便审判他。巴比伦王在西底家眼前杀了他的众子，又在利比拉杀了犹大的一切首领，并且剜了西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，带到巴比伦去，将他囚在监里，直到他死的日子。

他们必因饥饿消瘦，被炎热苦毒吞灭。我要打发野兽用牙齿咬他们，并土中腹行的，用毒气害他们。外头有刀剑，内室有惊恐，使人丧亡，使少男、童女、吃奶的、白发的，尽都灭绝。’

管理米斯巴、各荷西的儿子沙仑修造泉门，立门，盖门顶，安门扇和闩锁，又修造靠近王园西罗亚池的墙垣，直到那从大卫城下来的台阶。

他们中间的君王也必在天黑的时候将物件搭在肩头上带出去。他们要挖通了墙，从其中带出去。他必蒙住脸，眼看不见地。

我要向你们变脸，你们就要败在仇敌面前。恨恶你们的，必辖管你们；无人追赶，你们却要逃跑。

西底家十一年四月初九日，城被攻破。耶路撒冷被攻取的时候，巴比伦王的首领尼甲沙利薛、三甲尼波、撒西金、拉撒力、尼甲沙利薛、拉墨，并巴比伦王其余的一切首领都来坐在中门。犹大王西底家和一切兵丁看见他们，就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门出城逃跑，往亚拉巴逃去。迦勒底的军队追赶他们，在耶利哥的平原追上西底家，将他拿住，带到哈马地的利比拉、巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒那里；尼布甲尼撒就审判他。巴比伦王在利比拉、西底家眼前杀了他的众子，又杀了犹大的一切贵胄，并且剜西底家的眼睛，用铜链锁着他，要带到巴比伦去。

若不是他们的磐石卖了他们，若不是耶和华交出他们，一人焉能追赶他们千人？二人焉能使万人逃跑呢？

你们要上她葡萄园的墙施行毁坏，但不可毁坏净尽，只可除掉她的枝子，因为不属耶和华。

“耶和华必使你败在仇敌面前，你从一条路去攻击他们，必从七条路逃跑。你必在天下万国中抛来抛去。

至于你们剩下的人，我要使他们在仇敌之地心惊胆怯。叶子被风吹的响声，要追赶他们；他们要逃避，像人逃避刀剑，无人追赶，却要跌倒。
