於是城破、王與諸戰士、由近王園兩城中之門、夜逃遁、迦勒底人在城四圍、王由平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、

Then the city wall was broken through, and the whole army fled at night through the gate between the two walls near the king’s garden, though the Babylonians were surrounding the city. They fled toward the Arabah,

Then the Babylonians broke through the city wall. Judah’s whole army ran away at night. They went out through the gate between the two walls near the king’s garden. They escaped even though the Babylonians surrounded the city. Judah’s army ran toward the Arabah Valley.

Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, by the king’s garden, and the Chaldeans were around the city. And they went in the direction of the Arabah.

Then a section of the city wall was broken down. Since the city was surrounded by the Babylonians, the soldiers waited for nightfall and escaped through the gate between the two walls behind the king’s garden. Then they headed toward the Jordan Valley.

那年四月九日，城里饥荒非常严重，百姓无粮可吃。城被攻破，西底迦和士兵便在夜间穿过御花园，从两城墙中间的门逃往亚拉巴。当时迦勒底人仍四面包围着城。迦勒底的军队追赶西底迦，在耶利哥平原追上了他。他的军队都四散而逃。迦勒底人擒住西底迦，把他押到哈马的利比拉去见巴比伦王。巴比伦王在那里审判他，当着他的面杀了他的众子和犹大所有的首领，又剜去他的双眼，用铜链锁着他押往巴比伦，将他终生囚在牢里。

他们必饱受饥荒之苦，被瘟疫和灾祸吞噬，被猛兽和毒蛇袭击。外有刀剑杀戮，内有恐惧笼罩，少男、少女、婴儿、老人无一幸免。

各荷西的儿子、管理米斯巴的沙仑修筑泉门，修好后盖上门顶，安上门，装上门闩和门锁。他还从靠近御花园的西罗亚池的城墙，一直修到大卫城下来的台阶处。

他们当中的首领必在黑夜背着行装出发，在墙上挖洞钻出去，而且必蒙着脸，看不见地。

我要严惩你们，使你们败在敌人手下；你们要被那些恨你们的人统治，即使没有人追赶，你们也要逃命。

西底迦执政第十一年四月九日，耶路撒冷沦陷。尼甲·沙利薛、三甲·尼波、撒西金和另一个尼甲·沙利薛等巴比伦王的所有将领都进城坐在中门。犹大王西底迦和所有军兵见势不妙，便在夜间穿过御花园，从两城墙中间的门逃往亚拉巴。但迦勒底的军队追上来，在耶利哥的平原擒住西底迦，把他带到哈马的利比拉去见巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，接受审判。巴比伦王在利比拉当着西底迦的面杀了他的众子和犹大所有的贵族，并且挖去他的双眼，把他用铜链锁着带到巴比伦。

若不是他们的磐石卖掉他们，若不是耶和华抛弃他们，一人怎能赶散他们千人？二人怎能击溃他们万人？

你们要去毁坏她的葡萄园，但不可彻底毁坏。要砍掉枝子，因为那些枝子不属于耶和华。

“祂要使你们被敌人击败、溃不成军、四散逃命，下场令天下万国惊惧。

“我要使你们当中的那些幸存者在敌国心惊胆战，过着风声鹤唳、惶恐不安的生活。
