Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Akbor, Shaphan and Asaiah went to speak to the prophet Huldah, who was the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem, in the New Quarter.

Hilkiah the priest went to speak to Huldah the prophet. So did Ahikam, Akbor, Shaphan and Asaiah. Huldah was the wife of Shallum. Shallum was the son of Tikvah. Tikvah was the son of Harhas. Shallum took care of the sacred robes. Huldah lived in the New Quarter of Jerusalem.

So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe( now she lived in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter), and they talked with her.

他有四個女兒，都是未出嫁的，都會說預言。

其餘百姓所捐的有二萬達利克金子，二千彌那銀子，六十七件祭司的禮服。

伊利莎白一聽到馬利亞問安，所懷的胎就在腹裏跳動。伊利莎白被聖靈充滿，高聲喊着說：「你在婦女中是有福的！你所懷的胎也是有福的！我主的母親到我這裏來，為何這事臨到我呢？因為你問安的聲音一入我耳，我腹裏的胎就歡喜跳動。這相信的女子是有福的！因為主對她所說的話都要應驗。」馬利亞說：「我心尊主為大；我靈以上帝我的救主為樂；因為他顧念他使女的卑微；從今以後，萬代要稱我有福。因為那有權能的為我做了大事；他的名是聖的。他憐憫敬畏他的人，直到世世代代。他用膀臂施展大能；他趕散心裏妄想的狂傲人。他叫有權柄的失位，叫卑賤的升高。他叫飢餓的飽餐美食，叫富足的空手回去。他扶助了他的僕人以色列，不忘記施憐憫，正如他對我們的列祖說過，『憐憫亞伯拉罕和他的後裔，直到永遠。』」馬利亞和伊利莎白同住，約有三個月，然後回家去了。

又有位女先知，名叫亞拿，是亞設支派法內力的女兒，年紀已經老邁，從童女出嫁，同丈夫住了七年，

那時，米利暗女先知，亞倫的姊姊，手裏拿着鈴鼓；眾婦女也跟她出去打鼓跳舞。

凡女人禱告或講道，若不蒙着頭，就是羞辱自己的頭，因為這就如同剃了頭髮一樣。

有一位女先知底波拉，是拉比多的妻子，當時作以色列的士師。

我曾將你從埃及地領出來，從為奴之家救贖你，我差遣摩西、亞倫和米利暗在你前面帶領。

耶戶對掌管服裝的人說：「拿出袍子來，給所有拜巴力的人穿。」他就拿出禮服來給了他們。

「當那日，從魚門必發出悲哀的聲音，從第二城區發出哀號的聲音，從山間發出破裂的大響聲。這是耶和華說的。
