“你们为我、为民众和整个犹大去求问耶和华有关这书卷上的话。耶和华的烈怒已经临到我们身上，因为我们的祖先没有遵守这书卷上的话，没有遵行这书卷上的吩咐。”

“你们去，为了我、为了人民、为了犹大全国，因着所发现的这书卷上的话求问耶和华，因为耶和华向我们所发的怒气极大；这是因着我们的祖先没有听从这律法书上的话，没有照着所有写给我们的去行。”

「你們為我、為民眾和整個猶大去求問耶和華有關這書卷上的話。耶和華的烈怒已經臨到我們身上，因為我們的祖先沒有遵守這書卷上的話，沒有遵行這書卷上的吩咐。」

“你們去，為了我、為了人民、為了猶大全國，因著所發現的這書卷上的話求問耶和華，因為耶和華向我們所發的怒氣極大；這是因著我們的祖先沒有聽從這律法書上的話，沒有照著所有寫給我們的去行。”

『你們去，為我、為人民、為猶大眾人、將所發現這一卷書上的話尋問永恆主；因為我們列祖沒有聽從這書上的話，沒有遵行、照這一切所寫關於我們的事，以致永恆主向我們大發烈怒。』

汝其往哉、為我為民、為猶大眾、以此書之言、詢於耶和華、因我列祖不聽此書之言、不遵所載諭我儕者而行、故耶和華向我、發怒甚烈、

爾曹往哉、為我及猶大全族之民、諮諏耶和華、蓋我列祖、未從此書所言、干耶和華震怒。

爾往、為我、為民、為猶大全族、因此書之言問於主、我列祖不聽從此書之言、不遵此書所載一切諭我之命而行、主之烈怒、必向我如火之烈、

“ Go and inquire of the Lord for me and for the people and for all Judah about what is written in this book that has been found. Great is the Lord’s anger that burns against us because those who have gone before us have not obeyed the words of this book; they have not acted in accordance with all that is written there concerning us.”

“ Go. Ask the Lord for advice. Ask him about what is written in this book that has been found. Do it for me. Also do it for the people and the whole nation of Judah. The Lord is very angry with us. That’s because our people who have lived before us didn’t obey the words of this book. They didn’t do everything written there about us.”

“ Go, inquire of the Lord for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found. For great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.”

“ Go to the Temple and speak to the Lord for me and for the people and for all Judah. Inquire about the words written in this scroll that has been found. For the Lord’s great anger is burning against us because our ancestors have not obeyed the words in this scroll. We have not been doing everything it says we must do.”

“ Go and inquire of the LORD for me, for the people, and for all Judah about the words in this book that has been found. For great is the LORD’s wrath that is kindled against us because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this book in order to do everything written about us.”

“ Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for the people and all Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found, for the wrath of the Lord that burns against us is great, because our fathers did not listen to the words of this book, to act in accordance with everything that is written regarding us.”

“ Go, inquire of the Lord for me, for the people and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found; for great is the wrath of the Lord that is aroused against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.”

Go ye, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is the wrath of Jehovah that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

“ Go and inquire of the Lord for me, the people, and all Judah about the instruction in this book that has been found. For great is the Lord’s wrath that is kindled against us because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this book in order to do everything written about us.”

Go ye, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great[ is] the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

“ Go, seek an oracle from the LORD for me and the people– for all Judah. Find out about the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the LORD’s fury has been ignited against us, because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this scroll by doing all that it instructs us to do.”

“ Go inquire of Yahweh for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is Yahweh’s wrath that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that which is written concerning us.”

又看见遍地有硫磺，有盐卤，有火迹，没有耕种，没有出产，连草都不生长，好像耶和华在忿怒中所倾覆的所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁一样。所看见的人，连万国人，都必问说：‘耶和华为何向此地这样行呢？这样大发烈怒是什么意思呢？’人必回答说：‘是因这地的人离弃了耶和华他们列祖的神，领他们出埃及地的时候与他们所立的约，去侍奉敬拜素不认识的别神，是耶和华所未曾给他们安排的。所以耶和华的怒气向这地发作，将这书上所写的一切咒诅都降在这地上。耶和华在怒气、忿怒、大恼恨中将他们从本地拔出来，扔在别的地上，像今日一样。’

那时，我的怒气必向他们发作；我也必离弃他们，掩面不顾他们，以致他们被吞灭，并有许多的祸患灾难临到他们。那日他们必说：‘这些祸患临到我们，岂不是因我们的神不在我们中间吗？’那时，因他们偏向别神所行的一切恶，我必定掩面不顾他们。

也没有听从耶和华我们神的话，没有遵行他藉仆人众先知向我们所陈明的律法。

西底家王打发人提出他来，在自己的宫内私下问他说：“从耶和华有什么话临到没有？”耶利米说：“有！”又说：“你必交在巴比伦王手中。”

我们定要成就我们口中所出的一切话，向天后烧香、浇奠祭，按着我们与我们列祖、君王、首领在犹大的城邑中和耶路撒冷的街市上素常所行的一样；因为那时我们吃饱饭、享福乐，并不见灾祸。

不可跪拜那些像，也不可侍奉它，因为我耶和华你的神是忌邪的神。恨我的，我必追讨他的罪，自父及子，直到三四代；

而且你们行恶比你们列祖更甚；因为各人随从自己顽梗的恶心行事，甚至不听从我，

耶和华与敬畏他的人亲密；他必将自己的约指示他们。

这样，扫罗死了。因为他干犯耶和华，没有遵守耶和华的命；又因他求问交鬼的妇人，没有求问耶和华，所以耶和华使他被杀，把国归于耶西的儿子大卫。

耶和华的话临到耶利米。那时，西底家王打发玛基雅的儿子巴施户珥和玛西雅的儿子祭司西番雅去见耶利米，说：“请你为我们求问耶和华；因为巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒来攻击我们，或者耶和华照他一切奇妙的作为待我们，使巴比伦王离开我们上去。”

因为他们忿怒的大日到了，谁能站得住呢？”

惟独你是可畏的！你怒气一发，谁能在你面前站得住呢？

约沙法说：“这里不是有耶和华的先知吗？我们可以托他求问耶和华。”以色列王的一个臣子回答说：“这里有沙法的儿子以利沙，就是从前服侍以利亚的。”

我以前没有律法是活着的；但是诫命来到，罪又活了，我就死了。

约沙法说：“这里不是还有耶和华的先知，我们可以求问他吗？”以色列王对约沙法说：“还有一个人，是音拉的儿子米该雅，我们可以托他求问耶和华。只是我恨他；因为他指着我所说的预言，不说吉语，单说凶言。”约沙法说：“王不必这样说。”

“人子啊，这些人已将他们的假神接到心里，把陷于罪的绊脚石放在面前，我岂能丝毫被他们求问吗？所以你要告诉他们：‘主耶和华如此说：以色列家的人中，凡将他的假神接到心里，把陷于罪的绊脚石放在面前，又就了先知来的，我耶和华在他所求的事上，必按他众多的假神回答他，

我们犯罪作孽，行恶叛逆，偏离你的诫命典章，没有听从你仆人众先知奉你名向我们君王、首领、列祖，和国中一切百姓所说的话。主啊，你是公义的，我们是脸上蒙羞的；因我们犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民，并以色列众人，或在近处，或在远处，被你赶到各国的人，都得罪了你，正如今日一样。主啊，我们和我们的君王、首领、列祖因得罪了你，就都脸上蒙羞。

在你一切所行的事上都要认定他，他必指引你的路。

那日的四分之一站在自己的地方念耶和华他们神的律法书，又四分之一认罪，敬拜耶和华他们的神。

因为律法是惹动忿怒的；哪里没有律法，那里就没有过犯。

“你们去为我、为以色列和犹大剩下的人，以这书上的话求问耶和华；因我们列祖没有遵守耶和华的言语，没有照这书上所记的去行，耶和华的烈怒就倒在我们身上。”

主耶和华若不将奥秘指示他的仆人众先知，就一无所行。

我们列祖犯了罪，行耶和华我们神眼中看为恶的事，离弃他，转脸背向他的居所，

第七年五月初十日，有以色列的几个长老来求问耶和华，坐在我面前。耶和华的话临到我说：“人子啊，你要告诉以色列的长老说，主耶和华如此说：你们来是求问我吗？主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，我必不被你们求问。

他发忿恨，谁能立得住呢？他发烈怒，谁能当得起呢？他的忿怒如火倾倒；磐石因他崩裂。

他们清清楚楚地念神的律法书，讲明意思，使百姓明白所念的。省长尼希米和作祭司的文士以斯拉，并教训百姓的利未人，对众民说：“今日是耶和华你们神的圣日，不要悲哀哭泣。”这是因为众民听见律法书上的话都哭了；

我们与我们的祖宗一同犯罪；我们作了孽，行了恶。

所以凡有血气的，没有一个因行律法能在神面前称义，因为律法本是叫人知罪。

我们列祖犯罪，而今不在了；我们担当他们的罪孽。

只是你们要行道，不要单单听道，自己欺哄自己。因为听道而不行道的，就像人对着镜子看自己本来的面目，看见，走后，随即忘了他的相貌如何。惟有详细察看那全备、使人自由之律法的，并且时常如此，这人既不是听了就忘，乃是实在行出来，就在他所行的事上必然得福。

你们要谨慎，免得忘记耶和华你们神与你们所立的约，为自己雕刻偶像，就是耶和华你神所禁止你做的偶像；因为耶和华你的神乃是烈火，是忌邪的神。“你们在那地住久了，生子生孙，就雕刻偶像，仿佛什么形像，败坏自己，行耶和华你神眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒。我今日呼天唤地向你们作见证，你们必在过约旦河得为业的地上速速灭尽！你们不能在那地上长久，必尽行除灭。耶和华必使你们分散在万民中；在他所领你们到的万国里，你们剩下的人数稀少。
