现在我已选择这殿，分别为圣，使我的名永在其中，我的眼、我的心也必常在那里。

耶和华说：“我必将犹大人从我面前赶出，如同赶出以色列人一般；我必弃掉我从前所选择的这城耶路撒冷和我所说立我名的殿。”

“你的民若奉你的差遣，无论往何处去与仇敌争战，向耶和华所选择的城与我为你名所建造的殿祷告，

求你记念你古时所得来的会众，就是你所赎、作你产业支派的，并记念你向来所居住的锡安山。

“你为耶和华你的神筑坛，不可在坛旁栽什么树木作为木偶。

我就必将以色列人从我赐给他们的地上剪除，并且我为己名所分别为圣的殿也必舍弃不顾，使以色列人在万民中作笑谈，被讥诮。

又在神殿内立雕刻的偶像。神曾对大卫和他儿子所罗门说：“我在以色列各支派中所选择的耶路撒冷和这殿，必立我的名直到永远。

却拣选犹大支派，他所喜爱的锡安山。盖造他的圣所，好像高峰，又像他建立永存之地；

我就必将以色列人从我赐给他们的地上拔出根来，并且我为己名所分别为圣的殿也必舍弃不顾，使他在万民中作笑谈，被讥诮。

但你们若归向我，谨守遵行我的诫命，你们被赶散的人虽在天涯，我也必从那里将他们招聚回来，带到我所选择立为我名的居所。’

因为耶和华拣选了锡安，愿意当作自己的居所，说：“这是我永远安息之所；我要住在这里，因为是我所愿意的。

并除掉外邦人的神像与耶和华殿中的偶像，又将他在耶和华殿的山上和耶路撒冷所筑的各坛都拆毁抛在城外；
