Moreover, Manasseh also shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem from end to end— besides the sin that he had caused Judah to commit, so that they did evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Manasseh also spilled the blood of many people who weren’t guilty of doing anything wrong. He spilled so much blood that he filled Jerusalem with it from one end of the city to the other. And he caused Judah to commit sin. So they also did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷，你杀害先知，又用石头把奉派到你那里的人打死。我多次想招聚你的儿女，好像母鸡招聚小鸡到翅膀底下，只是你们不愿意。

祭司长把银子拾起来，说：“这是血钱，不可放在殿库里。”

被石头打死，被锯锯死，（后期抄本在此加上“受试探”）被刀杀死。他们披着绵羊山羊的皮到处奔跑、受穷乏、遭患难、被虐待；

“因犹大王希西家的儿子玛拿西在耶路撒冷的所作所为，我必使地上万国看见他们的遭遇就惊恐。”

因为他们离弃了我，把这地方玷污了，在这地方向列神烧香。这些神是他们和他们的列祖，以及犹大列王所不认识的；他们又使这地方洒满无辜人的血。

可是玛拿西却引诱犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民行恶，比耶和华在以色列人面前除灭的列国更厉害。

在你衣襟上又发现无辜穷人的血，并且你不是发现他们在挖窟窿时杀他们的。虽然这样，

他又把自己所做的亚舍拉雕像安放在圣殿中，耶和华曾对大卫和他的儿子所罗门论到这殿说：“我要在这殿和我从以色列众支派中拣选的耶路撒冷，立我的名，直到永远。

耶和华啊，求你赦免你的子民以色列，就是你救赎的，不要使流无辜人的血的罪归在你的子民以色列中间。’这样，他们流人血的罪就得到赦免了。如果你行耶和华看为正的事，就可以从你中间除掉流无辜人的血的罪了。

并且说：‘我们若活在我们祖先的时代，决不会与他们一同流先知的血。’这样，你们就指证自己是杀害先知的人的子孙了。

摩西对亚伦说：“这人民向你作了什么，你竟使他们陷在大罪里呢？”

这事临到犹大完全是出于耶和华的命令，因着玛拿西的罪，就是他所行的一切，要把他们从自己面前赶走；又因着他所流无辜人的血，他使耶路撒冷满了无辜人的血，耶和华决不赦免。

如果你们不欺压寄居的，不欺压孤儿寡妇，不在这地方流无辜人的血，也不跟从别的神，自招祸患；

耶和华必击打以色列人，他们就摆动，像芦苇在水中摆动一样。他要把以色列人从他赐给他们列祖的这块美地上拔出来，把他们分散在幼发拉底河那边，因为他们做了亚舍拉，惹耶和华发怒。为了耶罗波安所犯的罪，又为了他使以色列人所犯的罪，耶和华必丢弃以色列人。”
