Some members of the prophetic guild in Bethel came out to Elisha and said,“ Do you know that today the LORD is going to take your master from you?” He answered,“ Yes, I know. Be quiet.”

The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked,“ Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?”“ Yes, I know,” Elisha replied,“ so be quiet.”

There was a group of prophets at Bethel. They came out to where Elisha was. They asked him,“ Do you know what the Lord is going to do? He’s going to take your master away from you today.”“ Yes, I know,” Elisha replied.“ So be quiet.”

And the sons of the prophets who were in Bethel came out to Elisha and said to him,“ Do you know that today the Lord will take away your master from over you?” And he said,“ Yes, I know it; keep quiet.”

The group of prophets from Bethel came to Elisha and asked him,“ Did you know that the Lord is going to take your master away from you today?”“ Of course I know,” Elisha answered.“ But be quiet about it.”

Then the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha and said,“ Do you know that the LORD will take your master away from you today?” He said,“ Yes, I know. Be quiet.”

Then the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel went out to Elisha and said to him,“ Are you aware that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said,“ Yes, I am aware; say nothing about it.”

Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him,“ Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said,“ Yes, I know; keep silent!”

And the sons of the prophets that were at Beth- el came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that Jehovah will take away thy master from thy head to- day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

Then the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha and said,“ Do you know that the Lord will take your master away from you today?” He said,“ Yes, I know. Be quiet.”

And the sons of the prophets that[ were] at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know[ it]; hold ye your peace.

The sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him,“ Do you know that Yahweh will take away your master from your head today?” He said,“ Yes, I know it. Hold your peace.”

Now Elisha went back to Gilgal, while there was famine in the land. Some of the prophets were visiting him and he told his servant,“ Put the big pot on the fire and boil some stew for the prophets.”

Now a wife of one of the prophets appealed to Elisha for help, saying,“ Your servant, my husband is dead. You know that your servant was a loyal follower of the LORD. Now the creditor is coming to take away my two boys to be his servants.”

Now Elisha the prophet summoned a member of the prophetic guild and told him,“ Tuck your robes into your belt, take this container of olive oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

One of the members of the prophetic guild, speaking with divine authority, ordered his companion,“ Wound me!” But the man refused to wound him.

The fifty members of the prophetic guild went and stood opposite them at a distance, while Elijah and Elisha stood by the Jordan.

When Jezebel was killing the LORD’s prophets, Obadiah took one hundred prophets and hid them in two caves in two groups of fifty. He also brought them food and water.)

He answered,“ Everything is fine. My master sent me with this message,‘ Look, two servants of the prophets just arrived from the Ephraimite hill country. Please give them a talent of silver and two suits of clothes.’”

Look, I and the sons whom the LORD has given me are reminders and object lessons in Israel, sent from the LORD who commands armies, who lives on Mount Zion.

When Saul and his servant arrived at Gibeah, a company of prophets was coming out to meet him. Then the spirit of God rushed upon Saul and he prophesied among them.When everyone who had known him previously saw him prophesying with the prophets, the people all asked one another,“ What on earth has happened to the son of Kish? Does even Saul belong with the prophets?”A man who was from there replied,“ And who is their father?” Therefore this became a proverb:“ Is even Saul among the prophets?”

So Saul sent messengers to capture David. When they saw a company of prophets prophesying with Samuel standing there as their leader, the spirit of God came upon Saul’s messengers, and they also prophesied.

When the members of the prophetic guild in Jericho, who were standing at a distance, saw him do this, they said,“ The spirit that energized Elijah rests upon Elisha.” They went to meet him and bowed down to the ground before him.

Surely he loves the people; all your holy ones are in your power. And they sit at your feet, each receiving your words.
