Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’”

Then he went out to the spring. He threw the salt into it. He told the people,“ The Lord says,‘ I have made this water pure. It will never cause death again. It will never keep the land from producing crops again.’ ”

Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said,“ This is what the Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”

Elisha went out to the spring, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

Then he went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have purified these waters; there shall not come from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.’ ”

Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast salt therein, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or miscarrying.

Elisha went out to the spring of water, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren[ land].

He went out to the spring and threw the salt in. Then he said,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or fail to produce crops.”

摩西向永恆主哀叫，永恆主將一棵樹指給他看；他把那樹木丟在水裏，水就變甜了。永恆主在那裏為他們立了律例典章，在那裏試驗了他們，說：『你若留心聽永恆主你的上帝的聲音，行他眼中看為對的事，側耳聽他的誡命，守他一切的律例，那麼我加在埃及人身上的一切疾病、我就不加在你身上，因為我永恆主乃是醫治你的。』

以利沙說：『拿點麵來。』他把麵撒在鍋中，就說：『倒出來給眾人喫。』鍋中就無害了。

神人問說：『掉在哪裏呢？』他將那地點指給以利沙看，以利沙就砍了一根木頭，丟在那裏，叫斧頭浮上來。

凡你獻為素祭的供物都要用鹽調和；在你的素祭上、你的上帝立約之鹽、是不可讓它缺少的；你一切的供物、都要配着鹽而獻上。

在河這邊和那邊有生命樹、結着十二樣的果子，每月各出果子。樹上的葉子可做醫治列國的用處；一切咒詛必不再有。必有上帝和羔羊的寶座在城中；他的僕人必事奉他，

鹽是好的；但鹽若成了不鹹的，要用甚麼來調味呢？應當有鹽在你們中間；應當彼此和睦。』

說了這些話，就吐唾沬在地上，用唾沬和成泥，把泥鋪在瞎子的眼睛上，

因為十字架之道、在滅亡着的人看是愚拙，在我們得救着的人看、卻是上帝的能力。因為經上記着說：『我要除滅智慧人的智慧，廢棄聰明人的聰明。』智慧人在哪裏？經學士在哪裏？今世的辯士在哪裏？上帝豈不是叫世界上的智慧變成了愚拙麼？本着上帝的智慧、世人既沒有憑着智慧認識上帝，上帝就樂意藉着宣傳之話的愚拙、來救信的人。猶太人求神迹，希利尼人尋智慧，我們卻宣傳釘十字架的基督：這在猶太人看是信仰的障礙，在外國人看是愚拙，但在蒙召的、無論是猶太人、是希利尼人、基督總是上帝能力、上帝的智慧。因為上帝的愚拙、總比人有智慧，上帝的軟弱、總比人強壯。弟兄們，看看你們的蒙召吧：按肉身說、有智慧的並不多，有能力的並不多，屬貴族的並不多。但上帝卻揀選了世界上愚拙的，要使有智慧的慚愧；上帝又揀選了世界上軟弱的，要使強壯的慚愧；上帝也揀選了世界上寒微的、被藐視的、無有的，要廢掉那些有的，

他對我說：『這些水向東方一帶地區流出，必下到亞拉巴，來到鹽海；所發出的水既流入鹽海，那水就得治好而無鹹味了。將來：凡這溪河所到之處、一切滋生活物都得以活着，也必有極多的魚；因為這些水來到哪裏，就是凡這溪河所到之處，海水就都得治好而無鹹味，百物也都得以活着。必有漁夫站在河邊；從隱基底直到隱以革蓮都作鋪網之處；其魚各從其類，好像大海的魚，極其之多。只是沼澤之地和窪濕之處仍不得治好，依然留着、以便出鹽。

人辱罵你們，逼迫你們，憑空虛造說出各樣壞話毁謗你們；為了我的緣故、你們是有福的。

他必擦去他們眼上一切的眼淚；必不再有死亡；也不再有哀慟哭號或疼痛；因為先前的事都過去了。』

他使江河變為曠野，叫水源之處變為乾渴之地；他使多結果實之地變為鹹地；都因其間居民的邪惡。他使曠野變為水塘，叫乾旱之地變為水源之處。他使饑餓的人住在那裏，好建造可住的城；他們就種田地，栽葡萄園，得享出產的果實。他又給他們祝福，使他們生養極多；也叫他們的牲口不減少。
