Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’”

Then he went out to the spring. He threw the salt into it. He told the people,“ The Lord says,‘ I have made this water pure. It will never cause death again. It will never keep the land from producing crops again.’ ”

Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said,“ This is what the Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”

Elisha went out to the spring, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

Then he went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have purified these waters; there shall not come from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.’ ”

Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast salt therein, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or miscarrying.

Elisha went out to the spring of water, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren[ land].

He went out to the spring and threw the salt in. Then he said,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or fail to produce crops.”

He went out to the spring of the waters, and threw salt into it, and said,“ Yahweh says,‘ I have healed these waters. There shall not be from there any more death or barren wasteland.’”

鹽善矣、若失其鹹、何以調之、爾曹宜自有鹽而相和也、

言竟、則唾於地、以唾和泥、敷瞽者之目、

夫十架之道、於淪亡者則為愚、於我儕得救者、則為上帝之能、記有之、我將敗智者之智、廢哲者之哲、智者安在、士子安在、斯世之辯者安在、豈非上帝使世之智為愚乎、蓋世既依上帝之智、而自恃己智不識上帝、故上帝喜以若愚之道救諸信者、猶太人索異蹟、希利尼人求智慧、但我儕宣釘十架之基督、於猶太人則為礙、於異邦人則為愚、惟於奉召者、無論猶太希利尼、則基督為上帝之能、上帝之智、蓋上帝之愚、智於人、上帝之弱、強於人、○兄弟乎、試觀爾曹奉召、依形軀為智為能為貴者無多也、乃上帝選世之愚者、以愧智者、選世之弱者、以愧強者、且選世之卑賤者、輕忽者、與夫無者以廢有者、

其人謂我曰、此水流於東方、下至亞拉巴、而入於海、既入於海、海水變甘、此河所至之地、諸動物必得滋生、鱗族繁衍、斯水既至、海水變甘、所至之處、百物生焉、漁人必立河濱、自隱基底至隱以革蓮、為張網之所、其中之魚、種類俱備、厥數繁多、若大海之魚然、惟其淤地水澤、水不變甘、留為斥鹵、

為我而人詬爾窘爾、妄以諸惡誣爾、爾福矣、

且盡拭其淚、死不復有、哀也泣也苦也、亦不復有、蓋前事已逝矣、

彼變江河為曠野、源泉為燥土、沃壤為鹵地、皆因居民之罪兮、彼變曠野為水澤、旱地為源泉兮、使飢者處之、建可居之邑兮、耕種田畝、栽植葡萄、獲其所產兮、錫以福祉、俾其繁衍、不容牲畜鮮少兮、
