This is the word that the Lord has spoken against him:“‘ Virgin Daughter Zion despises you and mocks you. Daughter Jerusalem tosses her head as you flee.

Here is the message the Lord has spoken against him. The Lord says,“‘ You will not win the battle over Zion. Its people hate you and make fun of you. The people of Jerusalem lift up their heads proudly as you run away.

This is the word that the Lord has spoken concerning him:“ She despises you, she scorns you— the virgin daughter of Zion; she wags her head behind you— the daughter of Jerusalem.

And the Lord has spoken this word against him:“ The virgin daughter of Zion despises you and laughs at you. The daughter of Jerusalem shakes her head in derision as you flee.

This is the word the LORD has spoken against him: Virgin Daughter Zion despises you and scorns you; Daughter Jerusalem shakes her head behind your back.

This is the word that the Lord has spoken against him:‘ She, the virgin daughter of Zion, has shown contempt for you and mocked you; She, the daughter of Jerusalem, has shaken her head behind you!

This is the word which the Lord has spoken concerning him:‘ The virgin, the daughter of Zion, Has despised you, laughed you to scorn; The daughter of Jerusalem Has shaken her head behind your back!

This is the word that Jehovah hath spoken concerning him: The virgin daughter of Zion hath despised thee and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞就派人到希西加那裡，說：「以色列的神耶和華如此說：『有關亞述王西納基立的事，你既然向我祈求了，那麼以下就是我針對西納基立說的話：錫安處女藐視你、嘲笑你，耶路撒冷女子在你後面搖頭。你辱罵誰、褻瀆誰呢？你揚起聲音、高舉眼目針對的是誰呢？是針對以色列的聖者！你藉著你的臣僕辱罵神；你又說：我帶著眾多的戰車，上到群山的高峰和黎巴嫩的極深之處；我砍伐黎巴嫩最高的香柏樹和最好的松樹，來到它的極高之處和最茂密的森林；我挖井喝水，我的腳掌踏乾了埃及一切的河流。我從遠古以來所立的，在太初的日子所定的，難道你沒有聽過嗎？現在我使它應驗了，就是讓你把堅固的城變為荒廢的石堆——那時城中的居民軟弱無力，驚惶羞愧，像田間蔬草、青綠嫩草，像被東風吹焦的屋頂上的草。你或坐或出或入，我都知道；我也知道你對我發怒。因為你對我發怒，你的驕奢安逸上達我的耳中，所以我要把鉤子放進你的鼻孔，把嚼環放入你的嘴裡，我必使你從原路返回。「『希西加啊，以下是給你的徵兆：今年你們會吃自生的，第二年你們會吃自長的，而第三年你們將播種、收割，栽種葡萄園，吃其中的果實。猶大家殘留的幸存者將再次往下扎根，向上結果；必有餘剩之民從耶路撒冷而出，必有幸存者從錫安山而來。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。』「因此，耶和華論到亞述王如此說：『他必不進入這城，也不在這裡射箭；他必不拿著盾牌兵臨城下，也不築起土壘攻城；他必從原路返回，也不進入這城。這是耶和華的宣告。要知道，我必為自己的緣故和我僕人大衛的緣故，保護拯救這城。』」

錫安女子啊，當大大快樂！耶路撒冷女子啊，當歡呼！看哪，你的王來到你這裡！他是公義的，得勝的，是謙和的，騎著驢——一頭小驢，就是驢的駒子。

塔爾施的民哪，像尼羅河一樣穿越你的地吧！再沒有什麼束縛你了。

好讓我講述對你的一切讚美，並在錫安城的眾門，因你的救恩歡樂。

他說：「受欺壓的西頓的民哪，你們必不再歡躍了！起來，過到基提去！就是在那裡，你們也不得安寧。」

只有錫安城留了下來，像葡萄園中的棚子，像瓜田裡的茅屋，又像被圍困的城邑。
