Then King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria. He saw an altar in Damascus and sent to Uriah the priest a sketch of the altar, with detailed plans for its construction.

Then King Ahaz went to Damascus. He went there to see Tiglath- Pileser, the king of Assyria. Ahaz saw an altar in Damascus. He sent a drawing of it to Uriah the priest. Ahaz also sent him plans for building it.

When King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, he saw the altar that was at Damascus. And King Ahaz sent to Uriah the priest a model of the altar, and its pattern, exact in all its details.

耶和华如此说：“不要效法列国的行为，任凭列国因天象惊惶，你们不要惊惶。

他们若因自己所做的一切感到羞愧，你就要将殿的规模、样式、出口、入口，以及有关整体规模的条例、礼仪、律法指示他们，在他们眼前写下，使他们遵照殿整体的规模和条例去做。

他向那攻击他的大马士革的神明献祭，说：“因为亚兰王的神明帮助他们，我也要向这些神明献祭，好让它们帮助我。”但那些神明却使他和全以色列败亡。亚哈斯聚集神殿里的器皿，把神殿里的器皿都打碎了，并且封锁耶和华殿的门，又在耶路撒冷各处的转角为自己建筑祭坛。他在犹大各城建立丘坛，向别神烧香，惹耶和华—他列祖的神发怒。

因他们使自己的门槛挨近我的门槛，使自己的门框挨近我的门框，又使他们与我之间仅隔一墙，并且行可憎的事，玷污我的圣名，所以我发怒灭绝他们。

他们把人的规条当作教义教导人；他们拜我也是枉然。’”

摩西将耶和华一切的命令都写下来。他清早起来，在山脚筑了一座坛，按着以色列十二支派立了十二根石柱。

不要效法这个世界，只要心意更新而变化，叫你们察验何为神的善良、纯全、可喜悦的旨意。

摩西看见这一切的工，看哪，耶和华怎样吩咐，他们就照样做了，摩西就为他们祝福。

在以色列王比加的日子，亚述王提革拉‧毗列色来夺取以云、亚伯‧伯‧玛迦、亚挪、基低斯、夏琐、基列、加利利和拿弗他利全地，把这些地方的居民都掳到亚述去了。

大卫指示他儿子所罗门有关殿的走廊、屋子、库房、楼房、内殿和柜盖之处的样式，被灵感动所得的一切样式：耶和华殿的院子、周围一切的房屋、神殿的库房和圣物库房；

这样，他们被自己所做的玷污了，在行为上犯了淫乱。

就可以不孝敬他的父亲。’这就是你们藉着传统，废了神的话。

你们知道，你们得以从你们祖先传下来虚妄的行为中救赎出来，不是靠着会朽坏的金银等物，

那时你要谨慎，在他们从你面前被除灭之后，你不可受引诱随从他们，也不可求问他们的神明，说：‘这些国家怎样事奉他们的神明，我也要照样做。’

大卫说：“这一切，所有工作的样式，是耶和华用手写的文件使我明白的。”

阿荷利巴一看见就恋慕他们，派遣使者往迦勒底他们那里去。巴比伦人来到她那里，上了她爱情的床，与她行淫污辱她。她被污辱，随后她的心却与他们生疏。
