Now Ahaziah had fallen through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria and injured himself. So he sent messengers, saying to them,“ Go and consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, to see if I will recover from this injury.”

Ahaziah had fallen through the window of his upstairs room in Samaria. He had hurt himself. So he sent messengers to ask the god named Baal- Zebub for advice. Baal- Zebub was the god of the city of Ekron. Ahaziah said to the messengers,“ Go and ask Baal- Zebub whether I will get well again.”

Now Ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper chamber in Samaria, and lay sick; so he sent messengers, telling them,“ Go, inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this sickness.”

One day Israel’s new king, Ahaziah, fell through the latticework of an upper room at his palace in Samaria and was seriously injured. So he sent messengers to the temple of Baal zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether he would recover.

Ahaziah had fallen through the latticed window of his upstairs room in Samaria and was injured. So he sent messengers, instructing them,“ Go inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this injury.”

从耶路撒冷下来的文士说：“他是被别西卜附身的”，又说：“他是靠着鬼王赶鬼的。”

他对王说：“耶和华如此说：‘你派人去问以革伦的神明巴力‧西卜，是因为以色列中没有上帝可以让你求问他的话吗？所以你必不能下所上的床，你一定会死！’”

以利沙来到大马士革，亚兰王便‧哈达正患病。有人告诉王说：“神人来到这里了。”王就吩咐哈薛说：“你带着礼物去见神人，托他求问耶和华，我这病能不能好？”于是哈薛用四十匹骆驼，驮着大马士革的各样美物为礼物，去迎见以利沙。哈薛到了那里，站在他面前，说：“你儿子亚兰王便‧哈达派我到你这里，问说：‘我这病会不会好？’”以利沙对哈薛说：“你回去告诉他说：‘你一定会好。’但耶和华指示我，他必定会死。”

学生所遭遇的与老师一样，仆人所遭遇的与主人一样，也就够了。既然有人骂一家的主人是‘别西卜’，更何况他的家人呢？”

其中却有人说：“他是靠着鬼王别西卜赶鬼。”

我祖先所毁灭的，就是歌散、哈兰、利色和提‧拉撒的伊甸人；这些国的神明何曾拯救他们呢？

因为他们离弃我，敬拜西顿人的女神亚斯她录、摩押的神明基抹和亚扪人的神明米勒公，没有像他父亲大卫一样遵从我的道，行我眼中看为正的事，守我的律例典章。

将列国的神明扔在火里，因为它们不是神明，是人手所造的，是木头、石头，所以被灭绝了。

但耶和华的使者对提斯比人以利亚说：“你起来，上去迎见撒玛利亚王的使者，对他们说：‘你们去问以革伦的神明巴力‧西卜，是因为以色列中没有上帝吗？’

他们对王说：“有一个人上来迎见我们，对我们说：‘去，回到差你们来的王那里，对他说：耶和华如此说，你派人去问以革伦的神明巴力‧西卜，是因为以色列中没有上帝吗？所以你必不能下所上的床，你一定会死。’”

但法利赛人听见，就说：“这个人赶鬼，无非是靠着鬼王别西卜罢了。”耶稣知道他们的心思，就对他们说：“一国自相纷争，必定荒芜；一城一家自相纷争，必立不住。若撒但赶出撒但，就是自相纷争，他的国怎能立得住呢？我若靠着别西卜赶鬼，你们的子弟赶鬼又靠着谁呢？这样，他们要作你们的判官。

有一个少年，名叫犹推古，坐在窗口上，沉沉入睡。保罗讲了多时，少年睡熟了，从三层楼上掉下去，扶起来时已经死了。

岂不是祸患临到不义的，灾害临到作恶的吗？

他们就把上帝的约柜送到以革伦。上帝的约柜到了以革伦，以革伦人就呼喊说：“他们把以色列上帝的约柜运到我这里，要害我和我的百姓！”

“西西拉的母亲从窗户里往外观看，她在窗格子中哀号：‘他的战车为何迟迟未归？他的车轮为何走得那么慢呢？’

有一人开弓，并不知情，箭恰巧射入以色列王铠甲的缝里。王对驾车的说：“我受重伤了，你掉过车来，载我离开战场！”

你不是已经得了你的神明基抹赐给你的地为业吗？耶和华—我们的上帝在我们面前所赶出的，我们也要得它为业。

现在你手里要带十个饼、几个薄饼和一瓶蜜到他那里去，他必告诉你，孩子会怎样。”

我的良人像羚羊，像小鹿。看哪，他站在我们的墙壁边，从窗户往里观看，从窗格子往里窥探。

看哪，耶和华必降大灾于你的百姓和你的妻妾、儿女，以及你一切所有的。至于你，你必患许多的病，你的肠子也必生病，日渐沉重，直到肠子坠落下来。’”
