And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that[ was] in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more[ shall they call] them of his household?

But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

And have cast their gods into the fire: for they[ were] no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them,[ Is it] not because[ there is] not a God in Israel,[ that] ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD,[ Is it] not because[ there is] not a God in Israel,[ that] thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

But when the Pharisees heard[ it], they said, This[ fellow] doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast[ them] out? therefore they shall be your judges.

And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

[ Is] not destruction to the wicked? and a strange[ punishment] to the workers of iniquity?

Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to slay us and our people.

The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot[ so] long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?

And a[ certain] man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever the LORD our God shall drive out from before us, them will we possess.

And take with thee ten loaves, and cracknels, and a cruse of honey, and go to him: he shall tell thee what shall become of the child.

My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.

Behold, with a great plague will the LORD smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods:And thou[ shalt have] great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day.
