Now Ahaziah had fallen through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria and injured himself. So he sent messengers, saying to them,“ Go and consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, to see if I will recover from this injury.”

Ahaziah had fallen through the window of his upstairs room in Samaria. He had hurt himself. So he sent messengers to ask the god named Baal- Zebub for advice. Baal- Zebub was the god of the city of Ekron. Ahaziah said to the messengers,“ Go and ask Baal- Zebub whether I will get well again.”

Now Ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper chamber in Samaria, and lay sick; so he sent messengers, telling them,“ Go, inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this sickness.”

One day Israel’s new king, Ahaziah, fell through the latticework of an upper room at his palace in Samaria and was seriously injured. So he sent messengers to the temple of Baal zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether he would recover.

Ahaziah had fallen through the latticed window of his upstairs room in Samaria and was injured. So he sent messengers, instructing them,“ Go inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this injury.”

以利沙来到大马士革。亚兰王便．哈达患了病。有人告诉他说：“神人来到这里了。”王对哈薛说：“你带着礼物，去见神人，托他求问耶和华说：‘我这病能痊愈吗？’”于是哈薛去见以利沙。他带着礼物，就是大马士革各样的美物，由四十匹骆驼驮着，去站在他的面前，说：“你的儿子亚兰王便．哈达派我到你这里来，问你说：‘我这病能痊愈吗？’”以利沙对他说：“你去告诉他说：‘你一定会痊愈的’，但耶和华指示我，他一定要死。”

学生若能像老师一样，奴仆若能像主人一样，也就够了。如果一家之主也被称为别西卜﹙“别西卜”是鬼王的名字。﹚，何况他的家人呢？

有人说：“他靠鬼王别西卜赶鬼。”

我列祖所毁灭的国，有歌撒、哈兰、利色和在提．拉撒的伊甸人，这些国的神曾拯救她们吗？

因为他们离弃了我，去敬拜西顿人的女神亚斯他录、摩押人的神基抹和亚扪人的神米勒公，没有遵行我的道，行我眼中看为正的事，谨守我的律例典章，像他的父亲大卫一样。

又把列国的神都扔进火中；因为他们不是神，只是人手所做的，不过是木头和石头，所以他们就灭绝了他们。

但耶和华的使者对提斯比人以利亚说：“你动身上去迎着撒玛利亚王的使者，对他们说：‘你们去求问以革伦的神巴力．西卜，是因为以色列中没有神吗？

他们对王说：“有一个人上来迎着我们，又对我们说：‘去吧，回到那差派你们的王那里，对他说：耶和华这样说：你派人去求问以革伦的神巴力．西卜，是因为以色列中没有神吗？因此，你必不能从你躺上去的那张床上下来，因为你必定死。’”

法利赛人听见了，说：“这个人赶鬼，只不过是靠鬼王别西卜罢了。”耶稣知道他们的心思，就对他们说：“如果一个国家自相纷争，就必定荒凉；一城一家自相纷争，必站立不住。如果撒但赶逐撒但，就会自相纷争。那么，他的国怎能站立得住呢？我若靠别西卜赶鬼，你们的子孙又靠谁赶鬼呢？这样，他们就要断定你们的不是。

有一个少年人，名叫犹推古，坐在窗台上，因为保罗讲得很长，他很困倦，沉沉地睡着了，就从三楼跌下来；把他扶起来的时候，已经死了。

灾难不是临到不义的人吗？灾祸不是临到作孽的人吗？

于是他们把神的约柜送到以革伦。神的约柜到了以革伦的时候，以革伦人就喊叫：“他们把以色列神的约柜运到我们这里来，是要杀害我们和我们的人啊！”

西西拉的母亲从窗户里向外观望，从窗棂中呼叫说：‘他的战车为什么迟迟不来呢？车轮为什么行得缓慢呢？’

有一个人随便射了一箭，竟射中了以色列王铁甲与护胸甲之间的地方。王对驾车的说：“你把车转过来，载我离开战场吧！我受了重伤。”

你不是应占有你的神基抹要你占有的地吗？我们不是应占有耶和华我们的神，从我们面前赶走的人的一切地吗？

你要带十个饼，一些饼干和一瓶蜜去见他，他会告诉你孩子将要怎样。”

我的良人像羚羊，像小鹿。看哪！他站在我们的墙后；从窗口观看，从窗格往里面探视。

所以耶和华要用极大的灾祸击打你的人民、妻子和儿女，以及你的一切财产。至于你，你的肠脏必患严重的病，直到因病情日益严重，你的肠子都流出来了。’”
