等到我来了，你们写信举荐谁，我就差遣他们，把你们的款项送到耶路撒冷去。如果我也该去，他们可以和我同去。

但我已经如数收到，并且有余；我已经充足，因我从以巴弗提受了你们的馈赠，当作极美的香气，为上帝所接纳、所喜悦的祭物。我的上帝必照他荣耀的丰富，在基督耶稣里，使你们一切所需用的都充足。

那时，使徒、长老和全教会认为应从他们中间拣选人，差他们和保罗、巴拿巴一同到安提阿去，所拣选的就是称为巴撒巴的犹大和西拉。这二人在弟兄中是领袖。

因为办这供给的事，不但补圣徒的缺乏，而且使许多人对上帝充满更多的感谢。他们从这供给的事上得了凭据，知道你们宣认基督，顺服他的福音，慷慨捐助给他们和众人，把荣耀归给上帝。他们也因上帝极大的恩赐显在你们身上而切切想念你们，为你们祈祷。

上帝能将各样的恩惠多多加给你们，使你们凡事常常充足，能多做各样善事。

弟兄们，我们要把上帝赐给马其顿众教会的恩惠告诉你们：他们在患难中受大考验的时候，仍然满有喜乐，在极度贫穷中还格外显出他们乐捐的慷慨。我可以证明，他们是按着能力，而且超过了能力来捐助，主动再三恳求我们，准他们在这供给圣徒的善事上有份；

我们认为，既然我们同心定意，就拣选几个人，派他们同我们所亲爱的巴拿巴和保罗到你们那里去。

人人要照自己所得的恩赐彼此服事，作上帝各种恩赐的好管家。若有人讲道，他要按着上帝的圣言讲；若有人服事，他要按着上帝所赐的力量服事，好让上帝在凡事上因耶稣基督得荣耀。愿荣耀和权能都归给他，直到永永远远。阿们！

因此，我们劝提多，既然在你们中间开始这慈善的事，就当把它办成。既然你们在信心、口才、知识、万分的热忱，以及我们对你们的爱心上，都胜人一等，那么，当在这慈善的事上也要胜人一等。

所以弟兄们，当从你们中间选出七个有好名声、满有圣灵和智慧，我们派他们管理这事。至于我们，我们要专注于祈祷和传道的事奉。”这话使全会众都喜悦，就拣选了司提反—他是一个满有信心和圣灵的人；他们又拣选了腓利、伯罗哥罗、尼迦挪、提门、巴米拿，并皈依犹太教的安提阿人尼哥拉，叫他们站在使徒面前，使徒祷告后，就为他们按手。
