吾人現世暫寓之逆旅、固有土崩瓦解之時。然吾人在天有一永久之安宅焉。此宅也、非人手所造、乃天主之所賜也。

親愛的弟兄啊，我們現在是神的兒女，將來如何，還未顯明；但我們知道，主若顯現，我們必要像他，因為必得見他的真體。

我知道我的救贖主活着，末了必站立在地上。我這皮肉滅絕之後，我必在肉體之外得見神。

我以為應當趁我還在這帳棚的時候提醒你們，激發你們；因為知道我脫離這帳棚的時候快到了，正如我們主耶穌基督所指示我的。

我們有這寶貝放在瓦器裏，要顯明這莫大的能力是出於神，不是出於我們。

但現在基督已經來到，作了將來美事的大祭司，經過那更大更全備的帳幕，不是人手所造，也不是屬乎這世界的；

因為基督並不是進了人手所造的聖所（這不過是真聖所的影像），乃是進了天堂，如今為我們顯在神面前；

但屬靈的不在先，屬血氣的在先，以後才有屬靈的。頭一個人是出於地，乃屬土；第二個人是出於天。那屬土的怎樣，凡屬土的也就怎樣；屬天的怎樣，凡屬天的也就怎樣。

何況那住在土房、根基在塵土裏、被蠹蟲所毀壞的人呢？

我們在這帳棚裏歎息勞苦，並非願意脫下這個，乃是願意穿上那個，好叫這必死的被生命吞滅了。

可以得着不能朽壞、不能玷污、不能衰殘、為你們存留在天上的基業。

在我父的家裏有許多住處；若是沒有，我就早已告訴你們了。我去原是為你們預備地方去。我若去為你們預備了地方，就必再來接你們到我那裏去，我在哪裏，叫你們也在那裏。

你必汗流滿面才得糊口，直到你歸了土，因為你是從土而出的。你本是塵土，仍要歸於塵土。

這一切既然都要如此銷化，你們為人該當怎樣聖潔，怎樣敬虔，

你們在他裏面也受了不是人手所行的割禮，乃是基督使你們脫去肉體情慾的割禮。

「我們聽見他說：『我要拆毀這人手所造的殿，三日內就另造一座不是人手所造的。』」

因為他等候那座有根基的城，就是神所經營所建造的。

因為我們是與神同工的；你們是神所耕種的田地，所建造的房屋。

把我提在風中，使我駕風而行，又使我消滅在烈風中。

我呼求的日子，我的仇敵都要轉身退後。神幫助我，這是我所知道的。

為這緣故，我也受這些苦難。然而我不以為恥；因為知道我所信的是誰，也深信他能保全我所交付他的，直到那日。
