我眾面不蒙帕、如由鏡得觀主榮、亦必化為此像、由榮而愈榮、即由主之神而化也、

吾人以無帕之面、睟然反映主之光輝、榮上增榮、漸與所映者融為一象；此則主之聖神之妙工也。

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever- increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

None of our faces are covered with a veil. All of us can see the Lord’s glory and think deeply about it. So we are being changed to become more like him so that we have more and more glory. And this glory comes from the Lord, who is the Holy Spirit.

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord— who is the Spirit— makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

因为那吩咐“要有光从黑暗里照耀出来”的神，已经照耀了我们的心，为要发出神荣耀的知识之光——这光就在耶稣基督的脸上。

为了你们脱去在过去行为上的旧人。这旧人顺着迷惑人的私欲受败坏，而你们在自己的心灵里得以更新，并且穿上新人；这新人是照着神的形像，在真理的公义和圣洁中被造成的。

不要效法这世代，要藉着理性的更新而改变，使你们可以分辨什么是神的旨意——那美善、可喜悦、完美的旨意。

对于他们，这世代的神把这些不信之人的心眼弄瞎了，使他们不能洞察基督荣耀的福音之光。基督就是神的形像。

如今我们对着镜子观看，模糊不清，但那时候就要面对面了；如今我所知道的有限，但那时候就要完全知道了，就像我已经被完全知道那样；

因为神预先所知道的人，神也预先定下他们和他儿子的形像相似，使他儿子在众多弟兄中做长子；

就像我们带有了属尘土的那个人的形像，我们也将带有属天的那一位的形像。

因此，如果有人在基督里，他就是新造的人；旧的已经过去，看哪，新的已经来临。

是的，也正是为此，你们应当尽量地殷勤，在信仰上加美德；在美德上加知识；在知识上加自制；在自制上加忍耐；在忍耐上加敬神；在敬神上加弟兄之情；在弟兄之情上加爱；因为你们如果有了这些，并且不断增多这些，它们就会使你们在真正认识我们主耶稣基督的事上，不会成为懒惰的或不结果子的人；就是说，没有具备这些的就是瞎眼的，他只看得见眼前的，忘记自己过去的罪孽已经得了洁净。

父啊，我在哪里，愿你所赐给我的人也能与我在哪里，好让他们能看见你所赐给我的荣耀，因为你在创世以前就爱我了。

并且穿上了新人。这新人照着创造他那一位的形像不断地被更新，以致真正认识他。

道成了肉身，居住在我们中间。我们看到了他的荣耀，正是从父而来的独生子的荣耀，充满了恩典和真理。

因为，如果有人是这话语的听者，而不是实行者，这个人就像人对着镜子观看自己生来的面貌，

原来属肉体的思想是敌对神的，因为它不服从神的律法，其实也不能服从；

他拯救了我们；这不是本于我们所做的义行，而是照着他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗涤和圣灵的更新。

使律法的公义规定，成全在我们这些不顺着肉体却顺着圣灵行走的人身上。

相反，要穿上主耶稣基督；不要为了私欲而在属肉体的事上做任何安排。

以赛亚说了这些话，是因为看见了耶稣的荣耀，就讲论他的事。

因为受割礼或不受割礼，都算不了什么；重要的是成为新造的人。

这教义是照着当受称颂之神的荣耀福音，就是所委托给我的福音。
