Another reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything.

But if anyone does not obey our message through this letter, take note of him and do not associate closely with him, so that he may be ashamed.

You must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer, for the LORD your God will be testing you to see if you love him with all your mind and being.
