Another reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything.

But as we spoke all things to you in truth, so also our boasting before Titus proved to be the truth.His affection abounds all the more toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling.

If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of that person so as not to associate with him, so that he will be put to shame.
