Another reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything.

如果有人不順從我們這信上的話語，你們就要記住這個人，不可與他交往，好讓他感到羞愧；

我深信你會順從，就寫了信給你，因為我知道你所做的甚至會超過我所求的。

所以，你們要在各教會面前，向他們顯出你們愛心的憑證，以及我們所誇耀你們的憑據。

因此，我親愛的各位，既然你們一直是順從的——不僅我在的時候如此，現今我不在的時候更加順從——就當懷著敬畏和戰兢的心，把你們的救恩行出來，
