因為無論在得救的人或滅亡的人中間，我們都是基督的馨香，是獻給神的。

蓋我儕於天主前、為基督之馨香、於得救者、亦於沈淪者、

蓋吾人乃基督所獻於天主之馨香也；蒙救者聞焉、沉淪者亦聞焉；

For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

God considers us to be the pleasing smell that Christ is spreading. He is spreading it among people who are being saved and people who are dying.

For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

Our lives are a Christ like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing.

For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

因為十字架的道理，對走向滅亡的人來說是愚笨的，但對我們這些得救的人，卻是神的大能。

要憑著愛心行事，好像基督愛我們，為我們捨己，當作馨香的供品和祭物獻給神。

我從萬族中把你們領出來，從你們所分散到的列邦召集你們的時候，我必悅納你們，好像悅納馨香的祭一樣。我要在列國的人眼前，在你們中間顯為聖。

你們所送的我都全數收到了，而且綽綽有餘；我已經足夠了，因我從以巴弗提收到你們所送的，好像馨香之氣，是神所接納所喜悅的祭物。

如果我們的福音被蒙蔽了，那是對滅亡的人才蒙蔽的。這些不信的人被這世代的神弄瞎了他們的心眼，使他們看不見基督榮耀的福音的光；基督就是神的形象。

並且在那些沉淪的人身上，行各樣不義的欺詐，因為他們不領受愛真理的心，使他們得救。

你要從他們手中接過來，向著祭壇把這些東西燒在燔祭之上，在耶和華面前作馨香之氣，這是獻給耶和華的火祭。

現在，耶和華說：（他自我還在母胎的時候，就造了我作他的僕人，好使雅各回轉歸向他，使以色列可以聚集到他那裡；我在耶和華眼中被看為尊貴，我的神是我的力量。）“你作我的僕人，使雅各眾支派復興，使以色列中得保全的歸回，只是小事，我還要使你作列國的光，使我的救恩傳到地極。”

耶和華聞了那馨香的氣味，就心裡說：“我必不再因人的緣故咒詛這地（因為人從小時開始心中所想的都是邪惡的）；我也必不再照著我作過的，擊殺各樣的活物。

你要把整隻公綿羊焚燒在祭壇上；這是獻給耶和華的燔祭，是獻給耶和華馨香的火祭。
