我勸提多就爾、亦遣一兄弟偕之、提多豈賺爾乎、我儕非同一神而履一迹乎、○

余勸一兄弟偕提多往、提多取爾財乎、吾眾非一心而步亦步乎、

我請提多就爾、又求一弟偕之、提多曾得爾財乎、我眾非同一心乎、非同一跡而行乎、○

我曾慫恿提多至爾處、並遣發一兄弟與之偕、提多曾佔爾便宜乎？吾儕豈非表裏如一、心跡雙清者乎。

I urged Titus to go to you and I sent our brother with him. Titus did not exploit you, did he? Did we not walk in the same footsteps by the same Spirit?

When I urged Titus to visit you and sent our other brother with him, did Titus take advantage of you? No! For we have the same spirit and walk in each other’s steps, doing things the same way.

I exhorted Titus, and I sent the brother with him. Did Titus take any advantage of you? Didn’t we walk in the same spirit? Didn’t we walk in the same steps?

因此，我們勉勵提多，既然開始了這慈善的事，就應當在你們那裡把這事辦好。

又作受割禮之人的父，就是作那些不僅受割禮，並且照著我們祖宗亞伯拉罕未受割禮時就信的那腳蹤而行之人的父。

你們的心要容得下我們。我們沒有虧負過誰，沒有損害過誰，也沒有佔過誰的便宜。

感謝神，他把我對你們那樣的熱情，放在提多的心裡。提多一方面接受了勸勉，但他自己更加熱心，自願到你們那裡去。我們還派了一位弟兄和他同去，（這人在福音的事工上，得到了眾教會的稱讚。不但這樣，眾教會更選派了他作我們的旅伴。我們辦理這慈善的事，是為了主的榮耀，也是為了我們的心願。）免得有人因為我們經管的捐款太多，就毀謗我們。因為我們努力去作的，不僅是主認為是美的事，也是眾人認為是美的事。我們還派了另一位弟兄與他們同去；我們在許多的事上多次考驗過他，知道他很熱心；現在他對你們大有信心，就更加熱心了。至於提多，他是我的同伴，為你們的緣故作了我的同工；還有我們那兩位弟兄，他們是眾教會所派的，是基督的榮耀。

於是摩西大怒，對耶和華說：“求你不要悅納他們的禮物，我沒有奪過他們一頭驢，也沒有害過他們一個人。”

看哪，我在這裡！你們只管在耶和華面前，以及在他的受膏者面前，作證指控我：我奪過誰的牛？搶過誰的驢？欺負過誰？虐待過誰？從誰手裡受過賄賂，以致我的眼睛因此被蒙住呢？如果有，我必償還給你們。”他們回答：“你沒有欺負過我們，沒有虐待過我們，也沒有從誰手裡取過甚麼東西。”

我從來沒有貪圖任何人的金銀或衣服。我這兩隻手，供應了我和同伴的需要，這是你們自己知道的。我凡事以身作則，你們必須照樣辛勞，扶助軟弱的人，並且記念主耶穌的話：‘施比受更為有福。’”

從前我為基督的福音到了特羅亞，雖然主給我開了門，我心裡仍然沒有安寧，因為見不到提多弟兄。於是我辭別了那裡的人，到馬其頓去了。

但那安慰灰心的人的神，藉著提多來到，安慰了我們；

我靠著主耶穌，希望不久就會差提摩太到你們那裡去，使我們知道你們的情況，可以得到鼓勵。沒有人與我同心，真正關心你們的事，因為大家只顧自己的事，而不理耶穌基督的事。不過，你們知道提摩太已證明了他的為人，他和我一同為了福音服事主，就像兒子跟父親一樣。

自從我奉命在猶大地作他們省長的日子以來，就是從亞達薛西王二十年，直到三十二年，共十二年，我和我的兄弟都沒有吃過省長的俸祿。

你們就是為此蒙召，因基督也為你們受過苦，給你們留下榜樣，叫你們跟隨他的腳蹤行。
