我非逾乎量如不及爾者然、蓋我宣基督福音已及乎爾、

蓋余治爾、不逾乎分、乃傳基督福音及爾焉、

我儕已及於爾、已至爾處、傳基督之福音、則不可謂我儕過分逾量、

吾儕之於爾等實無鞭長莫及之勢、蓋吾儕已以基督福音庇覆爾等矣。

We are not going too far in our boasting, as would be the case if we had not come to you, for we did get as far as you with the gospel of Christ.

I am not going too far in my bragging. I would be going too far if I hadn’t come to where you live. But I did get there with the good news about Christ.

For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. For we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ.

We are not reaching beyond these boundaries when we claim authority over you, as if we had never visited you. For we were the first to travel all the way to Corinth with the Good News of Christ.

For we are not overextending ourselves( as though our authority did not extend to you), for it was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ;

For we stretch not ourselves overmuch, as though we reached not unto you: for we came even as far as unto you in the gospel of Christ:

For we are not overextending ourselves, as if we had not reached you, since we have come to you with the gospel of Christ.

For we stretch not ourselves beyond[ our measure], as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in[ preaching] the gospel of Christ:

For we were not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach as far as you, because we were the first to reach as far as you with the gospel about Christ.

For we don’t stretch ourselves too much, as though we didn’t reach to you. For we came even as far as to you with the Good News of Christ,

虽然你们在基督里有无数的导师，却没有许多父亲，因我是在基督耶稣里用福音生了你们。

只有神藉着圣灵把这事向我们显明了；因为圣灵参透万事，就是神深奥的事也参透了。

在那日，神要藉着基督耶稣，按照我所传的福音，审判人隐藏的事。

我不是自由的吗？我不是使徒吗？我不是见过我们的主耶稣吗？你们不是我在主里面工作的成果吗？假若对别人来说，我不是使徒，对你们来说，我总是使徒；因为你们在主里正是我作使徒的印证。

这是按照可称颂、荣耀之神交托我的福音说的。

我从前为基督的福音到了特罗亚，主给我开了门。

惟有神能照我所传的福音和所讲的耶稣基督，并照历代以来隐藏的奥秘的启示，坚固你们。

这些不信的人被这世界的神明弄瞎了心眼，使他们看不见基督荣耀的福音。基督本是神的像。

这都是因着那给你们存在天上的盼望，它就是你们从前所听见真理的道，就是福音；

难道我们又开始推荐自己吗？难道我们像某些人那样要用人的推荐信介绍给你们，或用你们的推荐信给人吗？你们就是我们的推荐信，写在我们心里，被众人所知道、所诵读的，而你们显明自己是基督的书信，藉着我们写成的。不是用墨写的，而是用永生神的灵写的；不是写在石版上，而是写在心版上的。

除了基督藉我做的那些事，我什么都不敢提，只提他藉我的言语作为，用神迹奇事的能力，并神的灵的能力，使外邦人顺服；甚至我从耶路撒冷，直转到以利哩古，到处传了基督的福音。

亚波罗算什么？保罗算什么？我们都是神的执事，藉着我们，你们信了；这不过是照着主给各人的恩赐去做罢了。我栽种了，亚波罗浇灌了，惟有神使它生长。
