蓋余治爾、不逾乎分、乃傳基督福音及爾焉、

我儕已及於爾、已至爾處、傳基督之福音、則不可謂我儕過分逾量、

吾儕之於爾等實無鞭長莫及之勢、蓋吾儕已以基督福音庇覆爾等矣。

We are not going too far in our boasting, as would be the case if we had not come to you, for we did get as far as you with the gospel of Christ.

I am not going too far in my bragging. I would be going too far if I hadn’t come to where you live. But I did get there with the good news about Christ.

For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. For we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ.

We are not reaching beyond these boundaries when we claim authority over you, as if we had never visited you. For we were the first to travel all the way to Corinth with the Good News of Christ.

你们学基督的，师傅虽有一万，为父的却是不多，因我在基督耶稣里用福音生了你们。

只有神藉着圣灵向我们显明了，因为圣灵参透万事，就是神深奥的事也参透了。

就在神藉耶稣基督审判人隐秘事的日子，照着我的福音所言。

我不是自由的吗？我不是使徒吗？我不是见过我们的主耶稣吗？你们不是我在主里面所做之工吗？假若在别人，我不是使徒，在你们，我总是使徒，因为你们在主里正是我作使徒的印证。

这是照着可称颂之神交托我荣耀福音说的。

我从前为基督的福音到了特罗亚，主也给我开了门。

惟有神能照我所传的福音和所讲的耶稣基督，并照永古隐藏不言的奥秘，坚固你们的心。

此等不信之人被这世界的神弄瞎了心眼，不叫基督荣耀福音的光照着他们。基督本是神的像。

我们岂是又举荐自己吗？岂像别人用人的荐信给你们或用你们的荐信给人吗？你们就是我们的荐信，写在我们的心里，被众人所知道所念诵的。你们明显是基督的信，藉着我们修成的。不是用墨写的，乃是用永生神的灵写的；不是写在石版上，乃是写在心版上。

除了基督藉我做的那些事，我什么都不敢提，只提他藉我言语作为，用神迹奇事的能力，并圣灵的能力，使外邦人顺服；甚至我从耶路撒冷，直转到以利哩古，到处传了基督的福音。

亚波罗算什么？保罗算什么？无非是执事，照主所赐给他们各人的，引导你们相信。我栽种了，亚波罗浇灌了，惟有神叫他生长。
