then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, according as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.’

我必使你的王位穩固，正如我曾與你父親大衛立約，說，『你的子孫必永遠統治以色列。』

那麼我就立定你的國位，正如我和你父親大衛立了約說：「你子孫總必不斷有人來統治以色列的」。

我必鞏固爾國、昔我許爾父大闢、不絕其嗣、以繼以色列國位、今必踐其前言。

則我必鞏固爾國位、昔我與爾父大衛立約曰、爾嗣必繼爾治以色列民、永遠不絕、我必踐其言、

I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said,‘ You shall never fail to have a successor to rule over Israel.’

Then I will set up your royal throne. I made a covenant with your father David to do that. I said to him,‘ You will always have a son from your family line to rule over Israel.’

then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man to rule Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of your dynasty. For I made this covenant with your father, David, when I said,‘ One of your descendants will always rule over Israel.’

I will establish your royal throne, as I promised your father David: You will never fail to have a man ruling in Israel.

then I will establish your royal throne as I covenanted with your father David, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man to be ruler in Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ You shall not fail to have a man as ruler in Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.

I will establish your royal throne, as I promised your father David: You will never fail to have a man ruling in Israel.

Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man[ to be] ruler in Israel.

Then I will establish your dynasty, just as I promised your father David,‘ You will not fail to have a successor ruling over Israel.’

“ Now therefore, Yahweh, the God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying,‘ There shall not fail you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, to walk in my law as you have walked before me.’

He will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.I will be his father, and he will be my son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;but my loving kindness will not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you.Your house and your kingdom will be made sure forever before you. Your throne will be established forever.”’”

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised to David your father, saying,‘ There shall not fail from you a man on the throne of Israel.’

“ Yahweh says:‘ If you can break my covenant of the day and my covenant of the night, so that there will not be day and night in their time;then may my covenant also be broken with David my servant, that he won’t have a son to reign on his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

Yahweh has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it:“ I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forever more.”

I will keep my loving kindness for him forever more. My covenant will stand firm with him.I will also make his offspring endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.If his children forsake my law, and don’t walk in my ordinances;if they break my statutes, and don’t keep my commandments;then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.Once I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.It will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah.But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin.

Yahweh says:“ If my covenant of day and night fails, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;then I will also cast away the offspring of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his offspring to be rulers over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to be reversed and will have mercy on them.”
