then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ You shall not fail to have a man as ruler in Israel.’

我必固爾國位、依我與爾父大衛所立之約曰、爾不乏人、治以色列、

我必鞏固爾國、昔我許爾父大闢、不絕其嗣、以繼以色列國位、今必踐其前言。

則我必鞏固爾國位、昔我與爾父大衛立約曰、爾嗣必繼爾治以色列民、永遠不絕、我必踐其言、

I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said,‘ You shall never fail to have a successor to rule over Israel.’

Then I will set up your royal throne. I made a covenant with your father David to do that. I said to him,‘ You will always have a son from your family line to rule over Israel.’

then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man to rule Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of your dynasty. For I made this covenant with your father, David, when I said,‘ One of your descendants will always rule over Israel.’

I will establish your royal throne, as I promised your father David: You will never fail to have a man ruling in Israel.

then I will establish your royal throne as I covenanted with your father David, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man to be ruler in Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.

I will establish your royal throne, as I promised your father David: You will never fail to have a man ruling in Israel.

Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man[ to be] ruler in Israel.

Then I will establish your dynasty, just as I promised your father David,‘ You will not fail to have a successor ruling over Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, according as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.’

Therefore, Lord God of Israel, now keep what You promised Your servant David my father, saying,‘ You shall not fail to have a man sit before Me on the throne of Israel, only if your sons take heed to their way, that they walk in My law as you have walked before Me.’

He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.”’”

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying,‘ You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season,then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers.

The Lord has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it:“ I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.If your sons will keep My covenant And My testimony which I shall teach them, Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore.”

My mercy I will keep for him forever, And My covenant shall stand firm with him.His seed also I will make to endure forever, And his throne as the days of heaven.“ If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,If they break My statutes And do not keep My commandments,Then I will punish their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes.Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, Nor allow My faithfulness to fail.My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David:His seed shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me;It shall be established forever like the moon, Even like the faithful witness in the sky.” SelahBut You have cast off and abhorred, You have been furious with Your anointed.You have renounced the covenant of Your servant; You have profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.You have broken down all his hedges; You have brought his strongholds to ruin.

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,then I will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them.’”
