Then listen to them from heaven. It’s the place where you live. Do what that outsider asks you to do. Then all the nations on earth will know you. They will have respect for you. They’ll respect you just as your own people Israel do. They’ll know that your Name is in this house I’ve built.

Who should not fear you, King of the nations? It is what you deserve. For among all the wise people of the nations and among all their kingdoms, there is no one like you.

For the children of the desolate one will be more than the children of the married woman,” says the LORD.“ Enlarge the site of your tent, and let your tent curtains be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your ropes, and drive your pegs deep.For you will spread out to the right and to the left, and your descendants will dispossess nations and inhabit the desolate cities.

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD. All the families of the nations will bow down before you,

In this way they will pronounce my name over the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

“ Since the day I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city to build a temple in among any of the tribes of Israel, so that my name would be there. But I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.”

All the kings on earth will give you thanks, LORD, when they hear what you have promised.They will sing of the LORD’s ways, for the LORD’s glory is great.

“ Stop fighting, and know that I am God, exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.”

Now, LORD our God, please save us from his power so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, LORD, are God— you alone.

so that your way may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.

On that day the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will look to him for guidance, and his resting place will be glorious.

Today, the LORD will hand you over to me. Today, I’ll strike you down, remove your head, and give the corpses of the Philistine camp to the birds of the sky and the wild creatures of the earth. Then all the world will know that Israel has a God,
