I have put the ark there, where Yahweh’s covenant is that He made with the Israelites.

There I have placed the ark, in which is the covenant of the Lord that he made with the people of Israel.”

Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets that Moses had put in it at Horeb, where the Lord had made a covenant with the Israelites when they came out of Egypt.
