Then Solomon summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Zion, the City of David.

Then Solomon sent for the elders of Israel. He told them to come to Jerusalem. They included all the leaders of the tribes. They also included the chiefs of the families of Israel. Solomon wanted them to bring up the ark of the Lord’ s covenant from Zion. Zion was the City of David.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ houses of the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.

Solomon then summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel and all the heads of tribes— the leaders of the ancestral families of Israel. They were to bring the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant to the Temple from its location in the City of David, also known as Zion.

At that time Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel— all the tribal heads, the ancestral chiefs of the Israelites— in order to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD up from the city of David, that is, Zion.

Then Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes, and the leaders of the fathers’ households of the sons of Israel, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the city of David, which is Zion.

Now Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the City of David, which is Zion.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ houses of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the city of David, which is Zion.

At that time Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel— all the tribal heads, the ancestral chiefs of the Israelites— in order to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the city of David, that is, Zion.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which[ is] Zion.

Then Solomon convened Israel’s elders– all the leaders of the Israelite tribes and families– in Jerusalem, so they could witness the transferal of the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the City of David( that is, Zion).

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Yahweh’s covenant out of David’s city, which is Zion.

或告大衛王曰、主因天主之匱、賜福於俄別以東家及凡所有、大衛遂往、由俄別以東家、歡然請天主之匱、至大衛之城、

惟天主之匱、大衛已自基列耶琳、舁至為匱特備之所、蓋大衛曾在耶路撒冷為匱張幕、

示羅密及其兄弟、掌府庫之聖物、即大衛王與諸族長、千夫長、百夫長、並軍長所獻之聖物、

於是以色列人離主之山、歷程三日、主之法匱、先行三日之程、為之尋列營之所、

眾舁天主之匱、置於大衛為匱所張之幕中、獻火焚祭與平安祭於天主前、

大衛與以色列長老、及千夫長、皆往俄別以東家、歡樂欣喜、請主之約匱而上、

因主選擇郇城、樂為駐蹕之所、曰、此乃我永居之處、我所喜愛者、我必居於此間、我必使其糧食豐足、使其中貧民皆得飽食、使其中祭司衣被救恩、使其中虔誠人歡樂謳歌、在彼我以權勢賜大衛、原文作在彼我使角為大衛而萌為我所立之受膏王、特設明燈、

在大衛王及撒督、亞希米勒、與祭司族長、並利未人之族長前、利未支派之族長、無論大小、皆與族兄弟亞倫子孫同掣籤、

然大衛攻取郇之保障、郇之保障即大衛之城、

法匱止時、則曰、願主歸於以色列之億兆、

於是所羅門為主殿所作者、皆竣其工、遂攜父大衛所獻所獻或作所別為聖之金銀、及一切器皿、置於天主殿之府庫、

大衛招集以色列諸牧伯、各支派之族長、服事王之班長、千夫長、百夫長、掌王之產業牲畜、及王子之產業牲畜者、宦官、勇士、壯士、俱至耶路撒冷、

曰、我已沐之以膏、立之為王在我聖郇山、

主愛郇城之門、勝於雅各一切居所、

謂之曰、爾曹為利未支派之族長、當與同族自潔、舁主以色列天主之匱、至我為其所備之所、

所羅門集以色列諸長老、諸支派牧伯、及以色列諸族長、咸至耶路撒冷所羅門王所、欲自大衛之城、即郇城、舁主之約匱而上、以他念月、即七月、在節期、以色列人眾、咸集於所羅門王前、以色列長老既至、祭司乃舁匱、祭司與利未人、將主之匱及會幕、並幕中一切聖器、皆舁之上、所羅門王與集於其前之以色列會眾、同在匱前、以牛羊獻祭、牛羊甚多、不勝核、不勝數、祭司舁主之約匱、入於其所、即內殿至聖所、二基路伯翼下、二基路伯張翼於匱所之上、覆匱與其杠、其杠乃長、致其末自內殿出、可見於內殿前、惟外殿外不能見之、至今尚在彼、以色列人出伊及地後、主在何烈與之立約時、摩西以立約之二石板、置於匱中、除此石板外、匱中無他物、祭司自聖所出時、雲充盈主殿、主之榮光充盈主殿、祭司因雲不能侍立奉事、
