他照著所定的式樣，造了十個金燈臺放在殿裡，五個在右邊，五個在左邊；

「要用純金造一個燈臺，燈臺的燈座、燈柱、油杯、花瓣和花苞要用一塊純金打造。燈臺的兩邊要各伸出三個分枝，共六個分枝。每個分枝要伸出三個杏花形狀、有花瓣和花苞的杯，六個分枝都是這樣。燈臺上要有四個杏花形狀、有花瓣和花苞的杯。燈臺上每一對分枝的相連處要有花苞，三對都是這樣。整座燈臺，包括一切裝飾，都要用一塊純金打造。此外，要為燈臺造七個燈盞，放在燈臺上面，照亮前面的地方。

在殿的後部，從地面至天花板用香柏木板隔出長九米的內殿，就是至聖所。在至聖所外面是外殿，長十八米。

祭司把耶和華的約櫃抬進內殿，即至聖所，放在兩個基路伯天使的翅膀下面。

「你要吩咐以色列百姓，把榨出的純橄欖油拿來做會幕內的燈油，使燈臺上的燈經常亮著。亞倫和他的子孫要負責照看聖所內約櫃前的幔子外的燈，使燈在耶和華面前日夜亮著。這是以色列百姓世世代代當守的條例。

靠殿牆、圍著外殿和內殿又造了三層廂房，
