But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the Lord was aroused against his people and there was no remedy.

But God’s people made fun of his messengers. They hated his words. They laughed at his prophets. Finally the Lord’ s great anger was stirred up against his people. Nothing could save them.

看守耶稣的人戏弄他、殴打他，又蒙住他的眼睛问他，说：“你说预言吧！打你的是谁？”

既然我呼唤了，你们拒绝，我伸出了手，没有人留心，你们忽视了我一切的劝告，也没有接受我的责备；那么，你们遭难时，我就讥笑；你们的恐惧临到时，我就嘲笑——那时，恐惧像风暴那样临到，灾难像旋风那样来临，患难和困苦临到你们身上。那时，他们将呼求我，我却不回应；他们将切切寻找我，却找不到。正是因为他们恨恶知识，没有选择敬畏耶和华，没有接受我的劝告，藐视了我一切的责备，所以他们将吃尽自己行为的果实，饱尝自己计谋的后果。

他们像宴席上狂妄的讥笑者，向我咬牙切齿。

因此他的灾难将突然临到，他顷刻之间将被摧毁，无法挽回。

神哪，你为什么永久抛弃了我们呢？为什么你的怒气向你牧场的羊群如烟冒出呢？

有哪一位先知，你们的祖先不逼迫呢？他们杀了那些预言那义者要来的先知，现在你们又成为那义者的出卖者和凶手了。

希律和他的军兵就藐视耶稣，戏弄他，给他披上华丽的衣服，然后把他送回彼拉多那里。

可是另有些人嘲笑说：“他们被新酒灌醉了！”

要知道，他将被交给外邦人，被戏弄、受凌辱、被人吐唾沫；

因此，那拒绝这吩咐的，不是拒绝人，而是拒绝神——就是将他的圣灵赐给你们的那一位。

他们听到死人复活的事，虽然有些人嘲笑他，但有些人却说：“关于此事，我们还要再听你说！”

另有些人经受了戏弄、鞭打的试炼；还有些人受了捆锁、监禁的试炼；

爱钱财的法利赛人听到这一切话，就讥笑耶稣。

‘看吧，你们这些好讥诮的人哪！惊奇吧，灭亡吧！因为在你们的时代里，我要做一件事，就算有人向你们详细说明，你们也绝不会相信。’”

现在，你们不可再讥讽了，免得捆绑你们的绳索绑得更紧，因为我从主万军之耶和华那里听到了那注定要临到全地的灭绝。

你们当欢喜，当快乐，因为你们在天上的报偿是大的。要知道，那些人也这样逼迫了在你们以前的先知们。

士兵们也上前来戏弄他，给他献上酸酒，

神哪，列国进入了你的继业，玷污了你圣洁的殿，使耶路撒冷变为荒堆！他们把你仆人的尸体给了天空的飞鸟为食物，把你忠信者的肉体给了地上的野兽。他们使耶路撒冷四围血流成河，尸体无人埋葬。我们成了邻居辱骂的对象，成了周围人嘲笑和讽刺的对象。耶和华啊，这要到什么时候呢？你要永久发怒吗？你的嫉妒要像火那样燃烧吗？

“你们当听另一个比喻：有一个人，是一家的主人，他栽种了一个葡萄园，四面围上篱笆，里面挖了一个榨酒池，盖了一座守望楼，然后把葡萄园租给一些农夫，就出外旅行。当收果子的季节近了，主人就派了奴仆们到那些农夫那里去收取他的果子。但那些农夫抓住他的奴仆，打了一个，杀了一个，还用石头砸死一个。主人又派别的奴仆去，比先前的更多，那些农夫也照样对待他们。后来他差派自己的儿子到他们那里，说：‘他们一定会尊重我的儿子。’“可是那些农夫看见他的儿子，就彼此说：‘这是继承人。来，我们把他杀了，占有他的继业！’于是他们抓住他，把他扔出葡萄园外，杀了。那么，葡萄园的主人回来的时候，会怎么对待那些农夫呢？”他们回答说：“他会狠狠地除灭那些恶人，把葡萄园另租给按时交果子的农夫们。”
