“七天之内你们都要吃无酵饼。第一天，要清除家中所有的酵。任何人若在这七天当中吃有酵的饼，要将他从以色列人中铲除。在节期的第一天和第七天，你们都要招聚百姓举行圣会。这两天所有人都不得工作，除了预备各人要吃的以外，不可做任何工。你们要守这无酵节，因为我在这天把你们大队人马从埃及领了出来。你们要守这节期，作为世世代代永远的定例。从一月十四日晚上开始，直到二十一日晚上，你们都要吃无酵饼。在这七天内，你们屋里不能有酵。任何人若吃了有酵的东西，不论他是寄居者还是本地人，要将他从以色列会众中铲除。无论你们住在哪里都要吃无酵饼，不能吃有酵的食物。”

“要守除酵节，照我的吩咐在亚笔月所定的时间吃七天的无酵饼，因为你是在亚笔月离开埃及的。

“一月十四日从黄昏开始是耶和华的逾越节。从一月十五日开始是耶和华的无酵节，一连七天你们必须吃无酵饼。在无酵节的第一天，你们要举行圣会，不可做日常工作。这七天你们要献火祭给耶和华。第七天，你们要举行圣会，不可做日常工作。”

在随后的六天之内，你们要吃无酵饼。第七天，要举行庄严的聚会，敬拜你们的上帝耶和华。那一天你们不可做工。

吃祭牲的时候，不可吃有酵的饼，七天之内要吃无酵饼，即忆苦饼，以便你们一生谨记离开埃及的日子，因为当时你们离开得很仓促。那七天之内，你们境内不可有酵母。第一天傍晚献的祭肉不可留到第二天早晨。

你们要把旧酵除掉，好成为真正无酵的新面团，因为我们逾越节的羔羊——基督已经被献为祭了。所以，我们不可带着歹毒邪恶的旧酵守这逾越节，而要用真诚纯洁的无酵饼。

在节期的七天之内，你们只可以吃无酵饼，到了第七天，你们要为耶和华守节期。七天之内要吃无酵饼，你们境内不得有酵或是带酵的东西。

在耶路撒冷的以色列人非常喜乐地守除酵节七天。利未人和祭司用响亮的乐器天天颂赞耶和华。希西迦慰劳所有善于事奉耶和华的利未人。于是，众人欢宴过节七天，又献上平安祭，称谢他们祖先的上帝耶和华。全体会众商议要再守节期七天，于是大家又欢欢喜喜地守节期七天。

“一月十四日是耶和华的逾越节，十五日开始节庆，你们要连续七天吃无酵饼。第一天要举行圣会，不可做日常工作。你们要把毫无残疾的两头公牛犊、一只公绵羊和七只一岁的公羊羔献给耶和华作燔祭；同时要献上调了油的细面粉作素祭，每头公牛需献三公斤素祭，每只公绵羊需献两公斤素祭，每只公羊羔需献一公斤素祭；同时还要献一只公山羊作赎罪祭，为你们赎罪。除了早晨献的日常燔祭以外，要献上这些祭物。接连七天，除了日常的燔祭和同献的奠祭以外，还要照上面的规定给耶和华献上馨香的火祭。第七天，你们要举行圣会，不可做日常工作。

要守除酵节，照我的吩咐在每年亚笔月所定的日期连续吃七天的无酵饼，因为你是在这个月离开了埃及。谁也不可空手来朝拜我。
