因為他們離棄了我，向別的神燻祭，好用他們的手所作的一切事來惹我發怒，故此我的烈怒必倒在這地方上頭，總不熄滅。

蓋彼眾棄我、焚香於他神、以其手所為、激我之怒、故我洩忿於此而不止、

因猶大族棄我、焚香奉事他上帝、所為干我震怒、故我降災、靡有已時。

因斯民違棄我、焚香於他神、他神或作異邦之神以其所為、干犯我怒、故我盛怒傾洩於此處、如烈火不熄、

Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and aroused my anger by all that their hands have made, my anger will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.’

That’s because the people have deserted me. They have burned incense to other gods. They have made me very angry because of everything their hands have made. So my anger will burn like a fire against this place. And the fire of my anger will not be put out.’ ” ’

Because they have forsaken me and have made offerings to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands, therefore my wrath will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.

For my people have abandoned me and offered sacrifices to pagan gods, and I am very angry with them for everything they have done. My anger will be poured out on this place, and it will not be quenched.’

所以主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我必將我的怒氣和憤怒傾倒在這地方的人和牲畜身上、田野的樹木和地裏的出產上，它必燃燒，不會熄滅。」

猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，你們當自行割禮，歸耶和華，將你們心裏的污穢除掉；免得我的憤怒因你們的惡行發作，如火燃起，甚至無人能熄滅！」

如果你一隻手使你跌倒，就把它砍下來；你缺一隻手進入永生，比有兩隻手落到地獄，入那不滅的火裏去還好。

他也必喝上帝烈怒的酒；這酒是斟在上帝憤怒的杯中的純酒。他要在聖天使和羔羊面前，在火與硫磺之中受痛苦。使他們受痛苦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。那些拜獸和獸像，受了牠名字的印記的人，晝夜不得安寧。」

他張弓好像仇敵，他站立舉起右手，如同敵人殺戮我們眼目所喜愛的。他在錫安的帳棚傾倒憤怒，如火一般。

耶和華對我說：「雖有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前，我的心也不顧惜這百姓。你把他們從我眼前趕出，叫他們出去吧！他們若問你說：『我們往哪裏去呢？』你就告訴他們，耶和華如此說：『定為死亡的，必致死亡；定為刀殺的，必被刀殺；定為饑荒的，必遭饑荒；定為擄掠的，必被擄掠。』」「我命定四樣災害臨到他們，就是刀劍殺戮、羣狗拖拉、空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸吞吃毀滅。這是耶和華說的。我必使地上萬國因他們而驚駭，都因希西家的兒子猶大王瑪拿西在耶路撒冷所做的事。」

他重新建築他父親希西家所拆毀的丘壇，為諸巴力築壇，造亞舍拉，又敬拜天上的萬象，事奉它們。他在耶和華殿中築壇，耶和華曾指着這殿說：「我的名必永遠在耶路撒冷。」他在耶和華殿的兩個院子為天上的萬象築壇，並在欣嫩子谷使他的兒子經火，又觀星象，行法術，行邪術，求問招魂的和行巫術的，多行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒。他在上帝殿內立雕刻的偶像；上帝曾對大衛和他兒子所羅門說：「我在以色列眾支派中所選擇的耶路撒冷和這殿，必立我的名，直到永遠。只要以色列人謹守遵行我藉摩西吩咐他們的一切律法、律例、典章，我就不再使他們的腳挪移，離開我所賜給他們列祖之土地。」瑪拿西引誘猶大和耶路撒冷的居民行惡，比耶和華在以色列人面前所滅的列國更嚴重。

羅波安王第五年，埃及王示撒上來攻打耶路撒冷，因為他們背叛了耶和華。

他們的地滿了偶像；他們跪拜自己手所造的，就是自己手指所做的。有人屈膝，有人下跪；所以，不要饒恕他們。

凡血肉之軀都知道是我－耶和華點了火，這火必不熄滅。」

他出來迎接亞撒，對他說：「亞撒，猶大和便雅憫眾人哪，要聽我說：你們若順從耶和華，耶和華必與你們同在；你們若尋求他，就必尋見；你們若離棄他，他必離棄你們。

這事臨到猶大，誠然是出於耶和華的命令，要把猶大從自己面前趕出去，是因瑪拿西所犯的一切罪，又因他流無辜人的血，使無辜人的血充滿耶路撒冷；耶和華不願赦免。

所以，他將猛烈的怒氣和戰爭的威力傾倒在以色列身上；在他周圍如火燃起，他竟然不知，燒着了，他也不在意。

因為他們離棄我，向別神燒香，用他們手所做的一切惹我發怒，所以我的憤怒必向這地方發作，總不止息。』

他發憤恨，誰能立得住呢？他發烈怒，誰能當得起呢？他的憤怒如火傾洩而出，磐石因他崩裂。

耶和華發盡他的憤怒，傾倒他的烈怒，用火焚燒錫安，燒燬錫安的根基。
