And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

Manasseh prayed to him. When he did, the Lord felt sorry for him. He answered his prayer. The Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!

He prayed to him, and the LORD was receptive to his prayer. He granted his request and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that the LORD is God.

When he prayed to Him, He was moved by him and heard his pleading, and brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord alone is God.

And he prayed unto him; and he was entreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Jehovah he was God.

He prayed to Him, so He heard his petition and granted his request, and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that Yahweh is God.

And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he[ was] God.

When he prayed to the LORD, the LORD responded to him and answered favorably his cry for mercy. The LORD brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh realized that the LORD is the true God.

He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.

They were helped in fighting them, and God delivered the Hagrites and all their allies into their hands, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him. (niv)

So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer. (niv)

You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes. (niv)

“ Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (niv)

He says,“ Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (niv)

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (niv)

You ate no bread and drank no wine or other fermented drink. I did this so that you might know that I am the Lord your God.” (niv)

In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him. (niv)

he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings,to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride,to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword.“ Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in their bones,so that their body finds food repulsive and their soul loathes the choicest meal.Their flesh wastes away to nothing, and their bones, once hidden, now stick out.They draw near to the pit, and their life to the messengers of death.Yet if there is an angel at their side, a messenger, one out of a thousand, sent to tell them how to be upright,and he is gracious to that person and says to God,‘ Spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for them—let their flesh be renewed like a child’s; let them be restored as in the days of their youth’—then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God’s face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well- being.And they will go to others and say,‘ I have sinned, I have perverted what is right, but I did not get what I deserved.God has delivered me from going down to the pit, and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.’“ God does all these things to a person— twice, even three times—to turn them back from the pit, that the light of life may shine on them. (niv)

Jesus answered her,“ If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” (niv)

Praise be to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s heart to bring honor to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in this way (niv)

When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. (niv)

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.“ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.“ As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Then he said,“ Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”Jesus answered him,“ Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” (niv)

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (niv)

I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart. (niv)

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (niv)

No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another,‘ Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. (niv)

The Lord is known by his acts of justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands. (niv)

If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored: If you remove wickedness far from your tent (niv)

At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever. His dominion is an eternal dominion; his kingdom endures from generation to generation.All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him:“ What have you done?” (niv)

You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. (niv)

When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them. (niv)

You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows. (niv)
