Hezekiah rested with his ancestors and was buried on the hill where the tombs of David’s descendants are. All Judah and the people of Jerusalem honored him when he died. And Manasseh his son succeeded him as king.

Hezekiah joined the members of his family who had already died. He was buried on the hill where the tombs of David’s family are. The whole nation of Judah honored him when he died. So did the people of Jerusalem. Hezekiah’s son Manasseh became the next king after him.

And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the upper part of the tombs of the sons of David, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honor at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his place.

瑪拿西即位時、年十有二、在耶路撒冷為王、歷五十五年、行耶和華所惡、從異邦可憎之事、即耶和華於以色列人前、所逐諸族之事、復建其父希西家所毀之崇邱、為巴力建壇、作木偶、崇拜天象、而奉事之、在耶和華室築壇、昔耶和華指此室而言曰、我名必永在耶路撒冷、又在耶和華室二院中、為天象築壇、並在欣嫩子谷、使其子女經火、又行卜筮、用法術、行邪術、與憑鬼者及巫覡交、多行耶和華所惡、以激其怒、又置所造雕像於上帝室、昔上帝諭大衛、及其子所羅門曰、此室及耶路撒冷、乃我於以色列支派中所簡者、必永寄我名於其中、如以色列人遵行我藉摩西、所傳之法度、典章律例、則我不復移其足、離我所錫厥祖之地、瑪拿西誘猶大及耶路撒冷居民、致其行惡、較耶和華於以色列人前、所滅之族尤甚、耶和華諭瑪拿西與其民、惟彼不聽、故耶和華使亞述王之軍長來攻之、執瑪拿西、繫之以鏈、以鈎鈎之、攜至巴比倫、既遭患難、則求其上帝耶和華、在其列祖之上帝前、自卑維甚、禱耶和華、蒙其垂聽、而允所求、使返耶路撒冷、復其國位、瑪拿西始知耶和華為上帝、○嗣後、瑪拿西在大衛城谷中、基訓溪西、建築外垣、沿至魚門、周俄斐勒、建垣甚高、又於猶大之堅城置軍長、去除異邦之神、與耶和華室中之像、倂在耶和華室之山、及耶路撒冷所建諸壇、悉擲於城外、重建耶和華之壇、獻酬恩祭與感謝祭於上、命猶大人奉事以色列之上帝耶和華、惟民仍獻祭於崇邱、而獨奉其上帝耶和華、瑪拿西其餘事蹟、及禱其上帝之言、與先見奉以色列之上帝耶和華名、所諭之言、俱載於以色列列王紀、其祈禱與蒙允、及其罪過、並未自卑以前、築崇邱、立木偶、設雕像之處、俱載於何賽之書、瑪拿西與列祖偕眠、葬於己宮、子亞們嗣位、○
