As soon as the order went out, the Israelites generously gave the firstfruits of their grain, new wine, olive oil and honey and all that the fields produced. They brought a great amount, a tithe of everything.

The order went out. Right away the people of Israel began to give freely. They gave the first share of the harvest of their grain, fresh wine, olive oil and honey. They also gave the first share of everything else their fields produced. They brought a large amount. It was a tenth of everything.

As soon as the command was spread abroad, the people of Israel gave in abundance the firstfruits of grain, wine, oil, honey, and of all the produce of the field. And they brought in abundantly the tithe of everything.

When the people of Israel heard these requirements, they responded generously by bringing the first share of their grain, new wine, olive oil, honey, and all the produce of their fields. They brought a large quantity— a tithe of all they produced.

你們中間要拿禮物獻給耶和華，凡樂意獻的可以拿耶和華的禮物來，就是金、銀、銅， (cunpt)

就是他們在患難中受大試煉的時候，仍有滿足的快樂，在極窮之間還格外顯出他們樂捐的厚恩。我可以證明，他們是按着力量，而且也過了力量，自己甘心樂意地捐助，再三地求我們，准他們在這供給聖徒的恩情上有分；並且他們所做的，不但照我們所想望的，更照神的旨意先把自己獻給主，又歸附了我們。 (cunpt)

又定每年將我們地上初熟的土產和各樣樹上初熟的果子都奉到耶和華的殿裏。又照律法上所寫的，將我們頭胎的兒子和首生的牛羊都奉到我們神的殿，交給我們神殿裏供職的祭司；並將初熟之麥子所磨的麵和舉祭、各樣樹上初熟的果子、新酒與油奉給祭司，收在我們神殿的庫房裏，把我們地上所產的十分之一奉給利未人，因利未人在我們一切城邑的土產中當取十分之一。利未人取十分之一的時候，亞倫的子孫中，當有一個祭司與利未人同在。利未人也當從十分之一中取十分之一，奉到我們神殿的屋子裏，收在庫房中。以色列人和利未人要將五穀、新酒，和油為舉祭，奉到收存聖所器皿的屋子裏，就是供職的祭司、守門的、歌唱的所住的屋子。這樣，我們就不離棄我們神的殿。 (cunpt)

眾首領和百姓都歡歡喜喜地將銀子送來，投入櫃中，直到捐完。利未人見銀子多了，就把櫃擡到王所派的司事面前；王的書記和大祭司的屬員來將櫃倒空，仍放在原處。日日都是這樣，積蓄的銀子甚多。 (cunpt)
