Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites, who showed good understanding of the service of the Lord. For the seven days they ate their assigned portion and offered fellowship offerings and praised the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

Hezekiah spoke words that gave hope to all the Levites. They understood how to serve the Lord well. For the seven days of the feast they ate the share given to them. They also sacrificed friendship offerings. They praised the Lord, the God of their people.

And Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who showed good skill in the service of the Lord. So they ate the food of the festival for seven days, sacrificing peace offerings and giving thanks to the Lord, the God of their fathers.

Hezekiah encouraged all the Levites regarding the skill they displayed as they served the Lord. The celebration continued for seven days. Peace offerings were sacrificed, and the people gave thanks to the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

Then Hezekiah encouraged all the Levites who performed skillfully before the LORD. They ate at the appointed festival for seven days, sacrificing fellowship offerings and giving thanks to the LORD, the God of their ancestors.

And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.

Hezekiah expressed his appreciation to all the Levites, who demonstrated great skill in serving the LORD. They feasted for the seven days of the festival, and were making peace offerings and giving thanks to the LORD God of their ancestors.

那天四分之一的时间，他们站在自己的地方，宣读耶和华他们的神的律法书；另外四分之一的时间，他们认罪和敬拜耶和华他们的神。

他又委派军长统管众民，集合他们到城门的广场那里去见他；他鼓励他们说：

现在你们要向耶和华你们列祖的神认罪，遵行他所喜悦的旨意，与这地的民族和外族的女子分离。”

从头一天直到最后一天，每天都宣读神的律法书。他们守节七天，第八天照典章有严肃会。

因为耶和华赐人智慧，知识和聪明都出自他的口。他为正直人珍藏大智慧，给行为完全的人作盾牌；

他们带着耶和华的律法书，在犹大教训人；他们走遍犹大各城，在民间教训人。

“因此，我要诱导她，领她到旷野，对她说安慰的话。

他们要把你的典章教训雅各，把你的律法教训以色列；他们要把香焚在你面前，把全牲的燔祭献在你的祭坛上。

不但这样，我也把万事当作是有损的，因为我以认识我主基督耶稣为至宝。为了他，我把万事都抛弃了，看作废物，为了要得着基督。

他又对那些教导以色列众人，分别为圣归耶和华的利未人说：“你们要把圣约柜安放在以色列王大卫的儿子所罗门建造的殿里；不必再用肩膀扛抬。现在你们要服事耶和华你们的神，服事他的子民以色列。

至于你以斯拉，你要照着你手中神的智慧书，委任法官和官吏，治理在河西那边所有明白你神的律法的人民，那些不晓得律法的人，你要教导他们。

你们听着，因为我要讲论极美的事，我要开口说正直的事；

去见当时作祭司的，对他说：‘我今日向耶和华你的神表明，我已经来到了耶和华向我们的列祖起誓应许要赐给我们的地。’祭司就要从你手里接过篮子，放在耶和华你的神的祭坛前面。然后你要在耶和华你的神面前说：‘我的祖先原是个飘泊流亡的亚兰人；他下到埃及，在那里寄居；他人数稀少，在那里却成了又大又强、人数又多的国。埃及人恶待我们，苦害我们，把苦工加在我们身上。于是我们向耶和华我们列祖的神呼求，耶和华听见了我们的声音，看见了我们所受的困苦、劳碌和压迫，耶和华就用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，以及大而可畏的事、神迹和奇事，把我们从埃及领出来。把我们领进这地方，把这地赐给我们，就是流奶与蜜的地。耶和华啊，现在你看，我把你赐给我的土地的初熟果子带了来。’随后你要把篮子放在耶和华你的神面前，在耶和华你的神面前下拜。你和利未人，以及住在你们中间的外族人，都要因耶和华你的神赐给你和你的家的一切好处而欢乐。

以色列人没有真神，没有教导他们的祭司，没有律法，已经很久了。

然后利未人耶书亚、巴尼、示利比、雅悯、亚谷、沙比太、荷第雅、玛西雅、基利他、亚撒利雅、约撒拔、哈难和毗莱雅就教导他们明白律法。众人一直站在原处聆听。他们宣读神的律法，把意义清楚翻译出来，使众民明白所宣读的。

务要传道；无论时机是否适合，都要常作准备；要以多方的忍耐和教训责备人、警戒人、劝勉人。

你们的神说：“你们要安慰，要安慰我的子民！你们要向耶路撒冷说慈爱的话，又要向它宣告：他们的苦难已经满足了，他们的罪孽已经还清了，他们因着自己的一切罪，已经从耶和华的手里受到过重的刑罚。”

认识你是独一的真神，并且认识你所差来的耶稣基督，这就是永生。

因为那说“要有光从黑暗里照出来”的神，已经照在我们的心里，要我们把神的荣光照出去，就是使人可以认识那在基督脸上的荣光。

因为以斯拉专心寻求研究耶和华的律法，并且遵行，在以色列中教导律例和典章。
