He stationed the Levites in the temple of the Lord with cymbals, harps and lyres in the way prescribed by David and Gad the king’s seer and Nathan the prophet; this was commanded by the Lord through his prophets.

Hezekiah stationed the Levites in the Lord’ s temple. They had cymbals, harps and lyres. They did everything in the way King David, his prophet Gad, and Nathan the prophet had required. The Lord had given commands about all these things through his prophets.

And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, harps, and lyres, according to the commandment of David and of Gad the king’s seer and of Nathan the prophet, for the commandment was from the Lord through his prophets.

King Hezekiah then stationed the Levites at the Temple of the Lord with cymbals, lyres, and harps. He obeyed all the commands that the Lord had given to King David through Gad, the king’s seer, and the prophet Nathan.

歌唱的有利未人的族長，住在殿的房間，晝夜供職，不做別樣的工。

大衛派幾個利未人在耶和華的約櫃前事奉，頌揚，稱謝，讚美耶和華－以色列的神：為首的是亞薩，其次是撒迦利雅、耶利、示米拉末、耶歇、瑪他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄別‧以東、耶利；他們鼓瑟彈琴，亞薩敲鈸，聲音響亮；

大衛吩咐利未人的領袖派他們歌唱的弟兄用琴瑟和鈸的樂器奏樂，歡歡喜喜地大聲歌頌。於是利未人派約珥的兒子希幔和他弟兄中比利家的兒子亞薩，以及他們同族弟兄米拉利子孫裏古沙雅的兒子以探。其次還有跟隨他們的弟兄撒迦利雅、便‧雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、比拿雅、瑪西雅、瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅，以及門口的守衛俄別‧以東和耶利。歌唱的希幔、亞薩和以探，敲銅鈸，聲音響亮；撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、瑪西雅、比拿雅鼓瑟，調用女音；瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅、俄別‧以東、耶利、亞撒西雅用琴指揮，調用第八。基拿尼雅是利未人聖詠團的領袖，又教導人唱歌，因為他精通此事。

大衛早晨起來，耶和華的話臨到迦得先知，就是大衛的先見，說：

神也按手在猶大人身上，使他們一心遵行王與眾領袖照着耶和華的話所發的命令。

希幔、耶杜頓同他們吹號、敲鈸，聲音響亮，並用其他樂器配合，歌頌神。耶杜頓的子孫作門口的守衛。

大衛王自始至終的事蹟，看哪，都寫在撒母耳先見的書上、拿單先知的書上和迦得先見的書上，

耶和華吩咐迦得，大衛的先見，說：

王對拿單先知說：「你看，我住在香柏木的宮中，神的約櫃卻停在幔子裏。」拿單對王說：「你可以完全照你的心意去做，因為耶和華與你同在。」當夜耶和華的話臨到拿單，說：

耶和華差遣拿單到大衛那裏。拿單到了他那裏，對他說：「在一座城裏有兩個人，一個是富翁，一個是窮人。富翁有極多的牛羣羊羣；窮人除了所買來養活的一隻小母羊之外，一無所有。小羊在他家裏和他兒女一同長大，吃他所吃的，喝他所喝的，睡在他懷中，在他看來如同女兒一樣。有一客人來到這富翁那裏，富翁捨不得從自己的牛羣羊羣中取一隻招待來到他那裏的旅客，卻取了窮人的小母羊，招待來到他那裏的人。」大衛就非常惱怒那人，對拿單說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，做這事的人該死！他必須償還小母羊四倍，因為他做這事，沒有憐憫的心。」拿單對大衛說：「你就是那人！耶和華－以色列的神如此說：『我膏你作以色列的王，我救你脫離掃羅的手；

大衛說：「這一切，所有工作的樣式，是耶和華用手寫的文件使我明白的。」

被靈感動所得的一切樣式：耶和華殿的院子、周圍一切的房屋、神殿的庫房和聖物庫房；
