约阿施对众祭司说：“凡奉到耶和华殿分别为圣之物所值通用的银子，或各人当纳的身价，或乐意奉到耶和华殿的银子，

然而，有一件事我要责备你，就是你容让那自称是先知的妇人耶洗别教导我的仆人，引诱他们行奸淫，吃祭偶像之物。

那时这不法的人必显露出来。主耶稣要用口中的气灭绝他，用降临的荣光废掉他。

她不知道是我给她五谷、新酒，和油，又加增她的金银；她却以此供奉巴力。因此到了收割的日子，出酒的时候，我必将我的五谷、新酒收回，也必将她应当遮体的羊毛和麻夺回来。

你又将我所给你那华美的金银、宝器为自己制造人像，与他行邪淫；又用你的绣花衣服给他披上，并将我的膏油和香料摆在他跟前；又将我赐给你的食物，就是我赐给你吃的细面、油，和蜂蜜，都摆在他跟前为馨香的供物。这是主耶和华说的。并且你将给我所生的儿女焚献给他。你行淫乱岂是小事，竟将我的儿女杀了，使他们经火归与他吗？

以斯帖说：“仇人敌人就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼在王和王后面前就甚惊惶。

我必追讨她素日给诸巴力烧香的罪；那时她佩带耳环和别样妆饰，随从她所爱的，却忘记我。这是耶和华说的。”

义人的纪念被称赞；恶人的名字必朽烂。
