他們走遍猶大，從猶大各城裏招聚利未人和以色列的眾族長到耶路撒冷來。

於是王和以色列的眾首領都自卑說：「耶和華是公義的。」

便召聚眾祭司和利未人，吩咐他們說：「你們要往猶大各城去，使以色列眾人捐納銀子，每年可以修理你們神的殿；你們要急速辦理這事。」只是利未人不急速辦理。

亞哈斯與他列祖同睡，葬在耶路撒冷城裏，沒有送入以色列諸王的墳墓中。他兒子希西家接續他作王。

因為以色列王亞哈斯在猶大放肆，大大干犯耶和華，所以耶和華使猶大卑微。

他祭祀攻擊他的大馬士革之神，說：「因為亞蘭王的神幫助他們，我也獻祭與他，他好幫助我。」但那些神使他和以色列眾人敗亡了。

葬在大衛城列王的墳墓裏；因為他在以色列人中行善，又事奉神，修理神的殿。

約蘭興起坐他父的位，奮勇自強，就用刀殺了他的眾兄弟和以色列的幾個首領。

瑪拿西其餘的事和禱告他神的話，並先見奉耶和華－以色列神的名警戒他的言語，都寫在以色列諸王記上。

自從先知撒母耳以來，在以色列中沒有守過這樣的逾越節，以色列諸王也沒有守過，像約西亞、祭司、利未人、在那裏的猶大人，和以色列人，以及耶路撒冷居民所守的逾越節。
